Tilly to replace HM Leota?

For shame!unfortunately corajack. i belive she did a very POOR job as leota. she has to live upto an icon fans have loved for years or overcome it. she did neither. she was very unfunny and very very whiney. her dialouge was horrible (while not her fault, she could have argued for better)

Please tell me you haven't seen the movie yet. Although the original Leota segment of the movie was fine, she later becomes comic relief.
As far as the ride goes... there is no value to be gained by changing the head to Tilly unless you wanted to alter the words as you ride, but I don't see that being neccessary at this time.
But, as much as I like Ellen in the movie segments of Universe of energy, I never thought she would be an animatronic in the Dinosaur segments of the attraction.
I suppose anything is possible.

I would rather see Jack Sparrow added to the POC than I would to see Leota changed to Jenifer Silly.

Ellen is an AA in the Dinosaurs scene? Man, they must've really screw up UoE... Last time I was there it was closed.

Saw the movie, liked the movie, but I don't think Leota should be changed. Don't screw around with the classics man. Look at what happened to the Tiki Room. While I enjoy the new revamped version, there are people who absolutely loath it. Replacing Leota with Jennifer Tilly would be sacrilage! It cannot happen!

Yeah; she's in the dinosaur scene. It fits! (heh jk).
Ellen has been there since 1996. She was remodeled because she once looked so hideous - my guess is that AA was the original AA from World of Motion who tugged at the horse in the world's first traffic jam scene.

It's a good idea to read posts completely before responding. I said that I had already seen the movie and I was stating my own opinions.
I know that my opinion is not popular, because most people here (die hard Disney fans) want to keep the classics the way that they are. I do agree for the most part. But everyone was slamming Tilly unnecessarily. The movie WAS a comedy. The current HM Leota would never fit in that movie. Tilly had to be funny.
It's a moot point because I know that no one wants the old Leota replaced. Neither do I really, I was just stating that it would not be THAT horrible if it did happen.
it would be. for the reason you just stated. alneit HM has it's light moments, the overall Leota scene is not. it is downright creppy. it would definately clash and be a very bad rennovation unless theys et out to compeltely redo the whole ride. either case would be very very very bad for disney.
