Pre-Trip 'Til Death Do Us Eat - Oct 2016 F&W Trip

I wasn't going to do a pre-trip, but at this point my resort changing is getting ridiculous, and I feel like I need people to tell me they do it too. I know I can't be the only one...

WHO: Me and my husband! I usually just call him R on here.
WHY: Because we're obsessed and we wanted to go back. My fall break is the only time we could go. F&W time! PERFECT!
WHEN: Oct 13-18*

*It was originally going to be 13-16, a real quick trip. But I figured out a way to squeeze 1.5 more days of vacation using some unofficial comp time. (Vacation creep, amiright?) So we'll be arriving back home around lunch on the 18th and I'll have to go straight to work :eek:

WHERE: Coronado Springs > changed to Yacht Club. Added two days at French Quarter > changed to Poly > changed to Boardwalk.


A picture from our trip last fall when we just walked around Crescent Lake and decided we HAD TO stay there.

At this point we have 3 nights at the Yacht Club, and I'm hoping for a discount to come up. Last two nights I just changed to Boardwalk because I found a room with the Back to School Savings discount, which has previously not been coming up. I knew if I kept checking, it would happen!

I was pumped about having found a room at the Poly, but I couldn't pass up the discount at Boardwalk, plus when switching from YC to BW, we can take our luggage ourselves. I was so worried about the split stay because I was worried something would get lost or stolen or just not show up for a long time. This way...we just take it over! So easy.

That's it for now! We're at 91 days today. Can't wait! :inlove:

You got it! Haha glad it was clear which character. I think I'll start with the wraps and just ditch them if it gets unbearable.

Omg your trip is almost here. You must be beyond excited.

I love love love the costume, looks great. Hopefully by the time the party starts it will have cooled off a little bit and you won't be so uncomfortable. I naturally get chilly at night so you will probably be great.

Oh I guess you're right, it might be cooler in the evening! We're going to hang out in Epcot before the party, but depending on how things work out with our arrival/room being ready, maybe I'll be able to run back to the resort and change before we go to the party. Otherwise I'll have to walk around Epcot in the boots... yikes. I guess I've seen less practical shoes at the parks before.

It's Rey from The Force Awakens :D. It's not a perfect representation since she wears pants and her vest is really a wrap with a belt, BUT it's similar colors, so hopefully it'll come across in person. I will try the buns too, but at my last haircut, the lady chopped off about 6 inches too much, so the buns don't work as well :rolleyes:

This is it! Leaving at 5am in the morning! Ask me if I'm packed yet...no don't ask. We just took Chipper to his sitter a little while ago, and it was so hard. He actually whined and cried when we left. He's usually so caught up playing with his doggy cousin that he doesn't notice us leaving, so his crying made it extra difficult.

Also, I just saw that my coworker, who I did a photo shoot with this afternoon is in bed with fever, aches and chills. I AM FREAKING THE HECK OUT. I'm trying to calm down because freaking out is going to make it worse, but oh my gosh if I get sick, I'm going to be so mad. Not at him, just at the world...or whatever. Crossing all my fingers and toes. I don't think I was close enough to him to catch anything, so here's hoping.

Ok, finishing up some work then packing, sleeping, driving, flying, DISNEYING!
