Tiki Room?

I've never been. I always thought that it looked a little... dumb. So, what is it really and is it worth visiting on my next trip?

I think you will get many mixed reviews here on the Tiki Room. I happen to like it very much, it just puts a smile on my face. You will hear a few corny jokes and the music will stay with you all day. :) I am glad they went back to the original version. Brings me right back to my childhood.

We need time for things to happen.

I've never been either. However it's getting a check mark on my next visit. I had the same plans for CBJ but that isn't going to happen now because of the refurb.

All things (as Allison1975 pointed out)...I have to do at least once.

I absolutely love the Tiki Room (now)! Loved it back before the "Under New Management" crap too. Personally I thought the changes they made with that version, adding a bird as completely irritating as Iago, killed it. The idea of the room (to me) was it was sort of a relaxing experience with a lot to see. The UNM version just made me cringe. The version today (the remix of the original) is fantastic. A great "happy medium" between the original experience and meeting guests expectations of not being inside a building for too long and moving onto the next attraction. :)

Remembering too that it was a Tiki Bird that was one of the very first animatronics is a lovely little thing to keep in the back of your mind if you like the history of things like that. :)

I hope that I don't get flamed for this, but I have absolutely no use for this attraction. I found the "Under New Management" version to be absolutely annoying, and I find any version otherwise, whether before or after, to be hokey and boring. My wife and my daughter insist that we go in every single visit to the MK. If it were not for them, I wouldn't even use the building for shade.

We never saw the UNM version and we just saw this refurbed version last month. We thought it was cute. The AA birds are really cool. Something we will do probably once every couple trip or so.

No judgement here! I think you will find some others that are in agreement. I also found "Under New Management" unbearable! It is kind of hokey and corny but, I think that is the draw for me.

Loved the original, didn't hate "Under New Management", will definitely return to see (the new/old one) again.

All the birds sing words and the flowers bloom in the tiki tiki tiki tiki tiki room...

I think it's something you should experience once too. It's a little corny but it's fun to see all the AAs working and the songs are fun. I was so glad to here the restored it to its original form. I didn't mind Under New Management but the original is always the best.
