ticket shipping issues

hello all! I bought park tickets for a trip that was sort of an unexpected surprise. They have the option to ship them to your house for $5 extra a ticket. I went with that instead of picking them up there like I usually do. I was hoping to not have to wait in line & just head on in to the parks. well anyways, they get here & its not the actual tickets, its 2 cards so I still have to go and stand in line & get the actual tickets. I just spent $10 for nothing basically. anyone else go this route? should I try to fight it seeing as how it was pointless for me to spend the $10??? everyone I ask in my family thinks thats ridiculous & I should say something but I don't really want to argue with Disney people. =( so not cool! just wondering what you guys thought. would you fight it? I mean its basically throwing $10 in the garbage.

Did you buy the tickets from Disney or an outside vendor?

That does stink. You paid for convenience, and now you won't get the convenience.

The cards are your tickets i believe. We got tickets for the x-mas party and they came in the mail and they are cards also. You just scan them when you enter the gates.

We got tickets for for the christmas party and they are cards (like a credit card), is this like yours? Are day tickets are paper ones :). It says to sign them all so im guessing these are the correct ones x

i'll have to double check when I get home but if I remember correctly it said they weren't tickets & I still had to go down & get the paper tickets & show my I.D. and all that. blah.. idk. i'll check again though!

are you a florida resident? resident tickets need to be exchanged to verify that you are in fact a florida resident, so even if you pay to have the tkts shipped to you, they'll still be green exchange vouchers.
if they aren't florida resident tickets and they sent you other cards that are not valid tickets then i've got nothing... still, sorta sucks

ahh yes thats it. I live in Florida. Still wish they would have warned me that it was for nothing though =/ I don't want to argue with the disney people but I feel cheated out of $10.
