I was taught in Economics class about supply and demand. The more something is in demand the more expensive it gets. If attendence is down that should drive the price of attendence down. Granted I'm sure it would take a much bigger plummet in attendence to drop the price any, but to raise the ticket prices is absurd.

Well ive just phoned and got my AP. The CM confirmed theres a price hike from tommorow so i had timed it right. The UK exchange rate has gone back up so i also got a little better price with that too.

As for pricing I think Disney has to stay real, yes ive paid but im an addict. I know some people from here who still love Florida but think twice about long park visits, and about staying at resorts, if you compare it to the UKs top park (yes I know theres no real comparison but people watching money will) admission is approx $30 with many companys offering vouchers for buy one get 1 free on admission. As the Cptn said above simple economics more bums in parks more wedge spent over shop counters. And Alton Towers is the UKs top visited attraction.

Beautiful scenery, really really pants themeing.

With Universal still at $49.95 for an adult one day ticket, it looks like Disney has lost it's spot as least expensive for the time being....

We visited Alton Towers this sumer - Adult price for one day = £25 (about $46) and it was PACKED - why because of "buy one get one free" -
Its cheaper for the families to get in but once in (after you've paid your parking) - people spend money.
Disney need to learn a few basic lessons about attracting more guests

Pam...those are really nice discounts...you don't list an annual pass ....can I get an annual pass thru you?.......

Unfortunatley Maple Leaf does not carry the AP's. (I wish they did!) They do have tickets for Universal, Bush Gardens and many other Orlando attractions at a good discount.

Are the Ultimate park hopper passes going up too? I was going to wait to buy them at the resort so I could get them from day of check in to day before checkout since we will be leaving early that last day and not visiting the parks.

I just bought my AP at the Disney Store and they confirmed the price increase. They said it takes affect on Wednesday, 9/11 in the store (great day to increase prices!)

With my DC discount I paid $352 for my basic AP. I didn't go crazy and get the PAP (although I wanted to!)

We are going in April, so I think it was worth buying now.

Is this true?? then why get the card, the other codes are usually
better than the DC rate for resorts, anyway.
