Yes
Do we think it'll be open by June 4th?
Unfortunately not for the official opening day.
So the event last night did nothing come of it? Not a single new nugget? That seems hard to believe
Nothing, but that was the plan the entire time. I'd be a lot more disappointed if we weren't getting the date in 10 days.

I admit, I'm genuinely shocked we haven't gotten a song list at least. Hope they share that when they announce WDW's open date. Its really the only thing that piques my interest.

They keep mentioning original music / twist on the music we know. So I assume it’s a surprise?

I think it’s safe to assume “going down the bayou” in a new way will be played.

If going down the bayou is not played where how do you do was or at the top of the mill house. That would be incredibly disappointing. It’s the one song tailor made for this experience.

By this logic Haunted mansion holiday should have never been approved because TNBC didn't make money at the box office. Yet the overlay and film are still extremely popular

That is a perfect comparison!

Because HMH is a permanent installation on both coasts that cost tens of millions of dollars and completely gutted a beloved attraction!

Oh, wait. Now that I think about, HMH was originally done by DL Entertainment as a quick seasonal overlay that leaves the entire original Mansion entirely intact and wasn’t even done at MK.

So actually, that doesn’t work at all and is actually an idiotic comparison.

Yes
I'm assuming that's whatever D'Amaro was filming at MK the other week
The filming he did outside was actually for an internal Cast Member video, but I know for a fact he toured the attraction with WDI while he was here, but unfortunately am not sure if he filmed inside or not. I'm hoping for a video similar to what Iger did last year on-site at Journey of Water. We shall see!

That wasn't exactly the point I was trying to make. My point is that saying something has a low box office doesn't automatically equate to it not being popular. Just because PATF didn't make $10 billion dollars at the box office doesn't mean the characters and story aren't popular and don't resonate with people. Encanto is another great example of something that didn't make a lot of money at the box office yet exploded on Disney Plus and is still very popular.
