. . . You do realize they’re 98% identical to how they were on Splash, right?botched old logs is more like it, not good

The ride vehicles will absolutely have received maintenance attention by the time Tiana’s opens. They’re not risking a log sinking in their expensive new attraction.Pretty sure that's the problem. Splash's vehicles weren't famous for their great condition.
It's not just the concern about sinking. They are in desperate need of resurfacing/paint. Which I would assume is still planned since we're only in March and there's still quite a few months left. The ride vehicles will absolutely have received maintenance attention by the time Tiana’s opens. this but also botched meaning by the poor patch job after removing brer details, and couldn't have been replaced with new detail....?I think that was his point right? Botched and old. Sinking due to the resorts continued neglected maintenance.
They remove them from the water for storage, not a huge deal to docouldn't WDW just completely drain the log holding area so that none of the logs would have any "mold" or slime on the dry logs?

“Quite a few months left” is only two. And they might even start cast previews by next month.^That part.
I agree they are running out of time, hopefully that means what we’re seeing is only a few logs they pulled out for testing while the majority of the logs are being redone as we speak.“Quite a few months left” is only two. And they might even start cast previews by next month.

I assume Splash Archives, who has been claiming end of May or sooner for the public (soft or official I don't know). And I guess April for cast previews. I am skeptical of these claims.Sorry, according to who?
Resurfacing and paint can be done in a very short amount of time. Like within a week or two. Also, if the logs are already repaired to be seaworthy, paint likely won't need much if any additional testing since it's just surface level. No quite more about it. We are less than three months away to daily cycling and soft openings after that for a summer opening. They have to cycle first. Don't expect much from these logs changing much in that time or you will be disappointed.
Is it? They’ve had pretty poor show quality in recent years. The idea that they would open the ride to the general public with the logs in the cosmetic condition they are in right now is absurd.
Neglect generally occurs post-opening after the park ops take over, or when they're budget constrained. This is a new high budget ride that WDI has high standards for on opening day. What happens in the months/years after opening is another story. I do not believe they have finished the logs, the red flags and rejected tags should clue people into this.Is it? They’ve had pretty poor show quality in recent years.
