I’m just going to say this while I agree with most critiques of this ride (I don’t think it’s the worst ride ever or anything though) the queue is imo leaps and bounds ahead of splash

I dunno, Splash Mountain had those portraits of the characters in the queue. I doubt there's anything on par with them in the Tiana's queue.

I think they were in the current salt mound area before loading.

That’s interesting comparing the art of these portraits/pictures. There’s more dimensionality to the characters represented as “real” characters vs the more ink and paint look of the Tiana characters in their queue images

I guess it’d be harder to translate them without getting actual humans to pose, but would that have been so bad either? Seems like it’s more of a disconnect between Tiana’s images and the animatronics than splash’s images and its animatronics. In short splash’s look more in-world than Tiana’s for everything else in the queue are real world objects that don’t have a cartoon feel to them
