Shouldn't you have atleast started this new thread with an update? Or waited until you had one?

Thanks for helping to keep us informed though!
Looking forward to your updates.

EDIT -- Sorry.. didn't know you were posting again!
Still don't understand the point of the first post though, but thanks again for the update!

Update 7/5/09

Here's the latest tidbits I found today...

TTC:

Monorails Pink and Purple, the two involved in last night's deadly crash, were spotted inside the TTC station. There was a construction wall surrounding the crash areas, but it appears both monorail trains are still connected. Several cast members were around apparently working with the smashed trains.

The driver was 21 years old and a College Program participant.

All monorail service has been suspended and buses are now being used to transport guests from the TTC to Magic Kingdom and Epcot. These buses load at the tiny bus stop located to the far right of the TTC. Ferry service is still operational. The entire TTC area was roped off, most likely for investigators to search the area for clues on what caused last night's malfunction.

Magic Kingdom:

Crowds were medium to light.

Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin broke down several times in one run through due to an unknown malfunction.

Walls were down around the queue line for it's A Small World with a different look for the queue. It looks a bit simpler than the rest of the queue lines for Fantasyland.

Splash Mountain was broken down starting at 9 p.m. and wasn't open when I left at 11.

Service lights were on during the drop for Pirates of the Caribbean for some strange reason...

Walls were down around former steel drum stage in Adventureland.

Nothing new on the Space Mountain/TTA front... :(

That about covers it for this update!

I would love to see what that looks like. Splash Mtn has been off and on lately with some people seeing improvements and others seeing nothing work. One never knows about that Splash. Hopefully it will go down for a much needed just overall referb to make it amazing again.

I'm disappointed by Small World's new tent look (you can see pics on mouseplanet) compared to what was there before. However, I'm hoping that certain decorative pieces are still begin painted elsewhere and will be put back soon.

Also it looks like the Village Haus scrim is down and the building looks the same. Shame the blue roof is still there.

Ouch, how are they handling the cameras and overall media there? That would be tempting to snap a pic in a different angle...
There is that ClickOrlando vid also posted at mouseplanet.

Looking at the pics at mouseplanet.com, it seems that IASW didn't really change at all, just a brighter yellow and pink. Unless those pics aren't as detailed as shown there.

Do they look any different that prefurb?

Thanks for the updates.

It got one not too long ago... It's probably just having problems.

That would be cool to see the POTC drop with the lights on. I noticed Splash Mountain having problems in May when the Brer Rabit running away AA was not working.

Interesting updates. I had thought of doing something like this when I was in the parks, but only on Twitter.:lol:

Anyway...IASW...WAYYY too colorful.:dazzle: I was hoping they would get rid of this look.

Splash Mountain does not need to be refurbished. Not in the least bit.

What I WOULD LOVE to see fixed (or changed) is the chain lift on Runaway Railroad. It is horrific.

The last time I went on the ride everything was working, even the hopping AA. No idea what caused the crash yesterday...

Once I was on POTC and I guess there was a malfunction with the sound system, because there was no sounds, music, anything. After the drop, the cannons were still going off, but there was only splashes. It was all kind of eerie. After we got off they shut it down. Still a fun experience. :p

When I was on Buzz Lightyear yesterday I accidentally knocked over one of the phones on the control panel and the ride E-stopped. Kinda funny...:ROFLOL:
