Do you guys think the movie will be a true 170 minutes?

Or will it really be like 2 hrs. and 30 mins., with around 20 minutes of credits. They could have a lot of names to show because of all the special effects. Maybe they'll do something like pay homage to all the Imagineers that helped create the original Pirates of the Caribbean attraction. Who knows how long they'll be. :)

Perhaps this was the film to be shown on the S.S. Minnow?
Ladies and Gentlemen Unkadug will be here all weekend.. Try the veal. Tips your waitstaff...

I guess if I made it through all 3 Lord of the Rings Moives (not by Choice) I know I can for this one... MY friends are all excited for Spider-Man 3 :hurl: (they are not fans of Disney) :brick: I am the only one that is excited for this release... And I plan on seeing ir more than Once :sohappy:

Or maybe a complete ride through of the ride :)

I just hope the pacing is good. I liked Dead Man's Chest, but only saw it once because it seemed so long while I was watching it.

I agree, that was one of the only problems I had with DMC. The pace was so slow, that you could tell it was a long film unlike the first one where the pacing was so quick that you didn't realize it was two hours long.

But by the way AWE is looking, its going to be jam packed with action.

Sometimes movies seem long and unbarable purely because you are in the movie theater setting, which could be the cause for your discomfort for a number or reasons: it's uncomfortable, the audio and/or picture is not up to par, it is warm, too many people around you talking, etc....

Although I thought the film was great even in the theater and did not think it was slow at all as time seemed to fly by, have any of you tried watching Dead Man's Chest on DVD in the comfort of your own home.

I almost completely sure you'd enjoy a whole lot more, and will not think the film is dragging along. :)

The theatre is the only way to go in my opinion. I'm not fond of watching movies on my TV...they are so much smaller. I want to be totally immersed.
