Thread deleted?

Hello,

It appears as though a thread that I posted was deleted. May I please ask why? It was about the 07 MagicMeets event. There was discussion of the event last year and those threads remained which is why I felt it was ok to post again this year.

Can someone please tell me what was wrong with the post that justified deleting it? Of course, it could just be me not being able to locate the post either.

At the same time, if it is decided that WDWMagic wants to forbid the discussion of the event, while I would hate for that to be the case, I will adhere to conditions stating so.

It is against forum rules to link to a commercial or other WDW website without first obtaining permission from the webmaster.

The thread about the NJ/NY/PA meet was started by current forum members, inviting other forum members.

Very different from someone coming in from the outside specifically trolling for people to attend his/her non-wdwmagic.com meet.

Wow don't you think that trolling is a rather harsh word to use? I never considered myself a troll nor was I trying to lure away any of the users on the boards here.

Again...I only posted it because I saw other posts about last year's event. I meant no harm at all. I don't see why you wouldn't want the information there but if that's how the wdwmagic.com site feels about it, I certainly wont argue about it.

Is there someone I should be asking permission for this? Please let me know and I will look further into it.

P.S. If you haven't heard of the event, please look on many of the other sites online including Allearsnet.com and Mouseplanet.com regarding the event. It's a not-for-profit event.

Thanks,

Trolling also means to fish or attract and I don't think The Mom was referring to behavior. I would contact Steve (the administrator aka wdwmagic) and see what he has to say.

That's exactly what I meant. More of a casting your net over the waters sort of thing rather than a nasty creature living under a bridge who only comes out to cause trouble.

It's HarmonioUS, NOT HarmoniYOU.
Hmmm it was also a bit suspect that you just joined last night... only to plug your event. -- And to bump that very thread (?)

Had you been a long time poster... -- or-- not only here to plug your gig... then you might of been fine. *shrug*
