Thoughts on Cinderellabration

Main Street cannot get any more crowded than it already gets (wall to wall people), and at least this will give guests something to watch other than the idiots trying to make their way out of the park 5 minutes before Wishes (what is wrong with these people? If you don't want to watch the fireworks, use your brain and leave a half hour before them--but why would you not want to watch Wishes?) Just because there would be a show just before the fireworks or parade doesn't mean you have to watch that show--that's the reason for having multiple shows, and the increase in people in front of the castle will make it even easier to find a spot to watch the parade in Frontierland, for example. Furthermore, not everyone has to see every piece of entertainment every night. Remember that back in the 1950s and 60s, Disneyland had nightly entertainment in every land, and you chose what you wanted to see.
Did you happen to see my family and I walking out right before Wishes? Sorry if we looked foolish to you . To defend myself (don't know other people's circumstances), we were in line for Peter Pan's Flight and we wanted to go to DTD before it closed, since it was our only chance to go there before we came back home. We realized the line was getting way too long AND that Wishes was about to start so if we waited to go on the ride by the time we came out Main Street would be hell to get out of so we left the line and happened to cross the masses of people right before Wishes started. We did see the show though from the monorail line and from the monorail itself and it was a nice view. So yeah, that's my story. Back on topic everyone. :)

Not enough Cinderella!

I am glad to hear they will have *something* Cinderella related other than the castle and dinner! I LOVE Cinderella and think she is underrated in the Disney family. A lot of stuff you get has other princesses on it with Cinderella. Only recently have I found a little more with just Cinderella on it, but it's all for children. When will they come out with shirts for the adults??? :veryconfu I only get to enjoy the stuff now when I buy it for my niece & "nieces". :brick:

Won't this show require characters normally used from Spectromagic? I dunno if all three night show's will be able to be presented. It would be awesome, but I think that the character demands might be too high to have the cms do both. I dunno, I'm uneducated on this, someone educate me. :hammer:

If anyone can do it, Disney can.

Sean, Re-read my post. Characters and night elements have been cut from our version of the show. The planning right now is for this show to replace Cinderella's Surprise Celebration and run throughout the day. I hope this helps.

Well I must say that I'm not too excited about the show, but I'm not really into stage shows anyways. Hopefully it will surprise me though. But hey if it puts more people up in front of the castle to watch Wishes, that makes it easier for me to get to the back of the park at the end of the night

I'm not USUALLY a big fan of the stage shows either...but if this were going to be something like Aladdin--A Musical Spectacular at California Adventure, I would see it...

Well yeah. From what I've seen and read about Aladdin it seems to be top notch. And I'm going to see Cinderellabration, but I'm just not that excited about it. I kinda wish they would do away with the daytime show though. But that's for selfish reasons. I really miss being able to walk all the way through the castle to Fantasyland anytime I want to. I really miss being able to do that. But hey if that daytime show is popular with the little ones I guess I can live with it. I do hope this nighttime show is better than that one though.

Quick Questions.

Our castle in the MK is going to become gold for the occassian. I thought it was just disneyland?

Two so Cinderalbration is going to be similar to fantasmic in the sense that its a nightime show?

Hopefully, they'll be hiring tons of people for characters...

Yea, but this show should be an interesting nightime show, to fit Spectro, and Wishes in..So "Cinderella's Surprise Celebration" is definetley going to end next summer?

To answer all of your questions (except the gold castle--they are both going to be gold), we don't know lol It's a nighttime show at Tokyo Disneyland, though.
