This Thanksgiving, I'm thankful for...

I'm thankful for...

My husband who puts up with so much from me
My son and daughter who continually amaze me that they've turned into normal adults :lol:
My faith in God, that has helped me through some trying times
All the men and women in our military who voluntarily put their lives on the line for us
My WDW Magic friends, who may be difficult to explain to outsiders, but who share a special bond
My job and the opportunities it gives me to impact so many lives
My 2 crazy cats,who I'm sure are watching me type this, so I'd better mention them or they will attack me


oh, and I'm thankful for chocolate and ice cream and hot apple pie

I am thankful for the 15 years I had with my beautiful Maltese Gucci-she was put to sleep yesterday.
My family and friends for their love and support.
My job and my work for allowing me to do what I love and for my paycheck.
And of course, Disney!!!!! Can't wait to go in 167 days!

So sorry about your dog. We lost our amazingly smart and loyal Golden Retriever last January. She was just a joy and blessing to us and we miss her dearly.

I'm thankful for a God that bestows so many blessings on me.
I'm thankful for my husband and son. They do complete me.
I'm thankful for baby babble and snuggles.
I'm thankful that I have a job, a home, and the finances to give my son extras.
I'm thankful for my parents.
I'm thankful for my pets.
I'm thankful that even though I hate paying bills, getting out of bed to go to work, and housework, I have the ability to do them.
I'm thankful for veterans.
I'm thankful for people that love you because they want to. (Friends!)

This has been a year of so many ups and downs...
I'm very thankful for having made it through and for the love and support of all the wonderful people in my life who were there for me in so many different ways...including all of my Magic Friends. Like Betty said...a special bond, indeed.

- God and how He has pursued me...
- My husband of 10 years this year!
- My DS (5) and DD (2)
- Getting into a PhD program and surviving almost 18 months now
- Paying off debt so we can go on guilt-free vacations
- My awesome parents who lent us the money, and now go on vacations with us!
- Being able to do research on something that matters to me (political implications of intercountry adoption)
- And of course...WDW vacations and the amazing unity it brings my family!
- And last but not least, this crazy fun community of anonymous people who share their lives with me!

My friends. It’s hard moving away from friends, but I’m so thankful for technology keeping us together.
The people and horses at my barn. We are a family…barns like these are so rare.
My faith.

That I made it through this last year.

1. My family: They drive me nuts at times but they are my motivation in life.
2. My friends, both real and virtual: There is nothing quite like the pick me up you feel when someone else is thinking about you because they want to and not because they have to.
3. The Flying Spaghetti Monster: It is nice having reason and logic govern my decisions.
4. Wil Wheaton: Thank you for the one simple rule that has the potential for changing the world for the better.
5. The crew at Rooster Teeth. They are responsible for more uncontrollable laughter than any other single source. When my day is going to crap they can bring me off the ledge or out of the bell tower.
6. The skeptical community. In particular Dr Phil Plait, Brian Dunning and the cast of the Skeptics Guide to the Universe: Thank you from saving me from the woo and the atrocious science reporting in the media today.
7. My Wife: She deserves to be singled out from friends and family. There is no greater joy in life than being married to your best friend. I honestly do not know what I would do without her.
