From Screamscape:

2006/2007 - New Attraction - Rumor - (11/1/04) Screamscape has recieved another unverified rumor claiming that something may be in the works for the Jurassic Park area for 2006. The timing of this also makes sense since late 2005 or Summer 2006 is likely to be when the JP4 film is released. Our tipster also claims that many of the tallented people who brought the Spider-man ride to life are working on this project and left us with a final tease, “JEEPers”! At this point we’ll have to wait and see if this evolves into something real.

By the way....check out this site for some awesome-looking concept art. I do hope that this becomes a reality someday.....

JP Jeep Ride

Doesn't it sound excellent and the concept artwork looks fantastic.

I must admit i was disappointed with the JP river adventure as i thought the one in California was better (the falling car, the Trex bearing down on you).

If some of it was done inside a soundstage, it could be dark with rain effect and bingo the sound of the footsteps... then the eye by the side of the car..
bit of pushing... then off you race..

i't would scare you silly....

Well when I was little and the ride opened at USH. I thought when the ride opened it was a jeep ride. It wasnt until I actually got to IOA for the first time I found out it was a River Adventure (I still like the river adventure) all though the jeep ride would be a nice touch!

From the concept art it looks like the Jeep ride would have to have a huge show building. I wonder what is on the bottom level of River Adventure.

But, yeah, a lot of roow would be needed, especially since the ride does not look to be of multiple floors.

I would love to see the Jeep Adventure, but at this point I would just like to see SOMETHING, ANYTHING added to IOA. I never would have thought there would be no additions since opening (Storm Force and Flying Unicorn aren't real big additions). It's time for something new to come to JP.

Hmmm...are we sure that these are official concept art shots? I mean, it looks as if this guy DID work for UniCreative...but got let go. (And with it...the Jeep Adventure went the way of Beastly Kingdomme). It does look like a REALLY cool attraction though!!!

IOA really needs something.....it has been open for 5 years now, and has only seen small additions in the first two years. I understand the focus the last few years has been on USF, as it had been ignored for quite a while, but USF seems to have had a major attendance surge since all of the additions, so, I think the studios is pretty much "done" for a few years.

Looking at the River Adventure, there is a large plot of land to the left of the pump house building.....the land has been clear for quite some time. I had thought at one point that another coaster (flyer) was going into this spot, and one time when driving by early in the morning, I saw some large black balloons raised to certain heights in this area......but that was years ago, and nothing has yet come of it.

It worked last month... perhaps Uni will be using it again and wants to re classify it... that and i doubt ti was unclassified before.... (even disney hasn;'t shown us the full amount of concept art towards many of their abandoned rides, due to the fact they could be re-themed or reused latter.... No idea is ever lost...

I believe that was for the planned Giga-coaster. IT would have definitly broken the theming for the park.

Anyway, I should mention I was listening to Weird Al's Jurassic Park song and at one part he states "This thing aint no E-ticket" or something along those lines.

Please remember that the concept art is at least 10 years old, and will have no official resemblance to what they are possibly looking at now...Those designs were made before work was halted, so they are pretty obselete.

Also, whenever Screamscape posts a link to concept art, like they did with "the Mummy", it is soon removed by Universal. They have an entire department that searches websites for leaks or artwork, and that is why several things involving recent projects like halloween horror nights (the whole "Dr. Payne" thing) were changed...

One guy had storyboards for the Mummy on his website until it was leaked to Screamscape, and Universal told him to remove it. I'm sure this is the same deal.
