Third Bed At Pop Century In One Room

I know I've done it in the past and I called Pop Century to confirm they could offer a 3rd bed (some kind of roll away) in our room. We'll have 3 adults and none of us want to sleep in the same bed.

The woman I talked to at Pop said no problem and even said it would be free of charge. I thought it cost something.

Has anyone requested a third bed and have it cost nothing and a value resort?

I think you can have up to 4 adults with out paying extra. If you told Disney that you would have 3 people in your room when you booked you shouldn't have to worry about any extra fees.

No, pricing is based on 2 adults per room. Additional fees range from $10 per additional adult at Values to $25 per adult at Deluxe resorts. I don't think there is a fee at the Deluxe Villas for additional adults, but I could be wrong about that.

The only problem I see is finding floor space for a roll-away for an adult.

This is my concern too. Just checked out of POP after spending 8 nights at POFQ (3 adults), and 3 nights at POP (2 adults). I am a minimal packer and don't need a lot of space; however, I could not imagine having more than 2 light-packing adults in a room at POP. I cannot even imagine where a 3rd bed would go - it's a tight fit!

The different in space between POP and POFQ was really surprising. Going back-to-back gave me a perspective I've never had before.

Good luck!

I was told this past September by a CM at Pop Century's front desk that they do not offer trundle beds. Besides, there is no where to roll them to get them out of the way. The beds sit on boxes. The only standard room that I know of that allows for a third bed is the POR. They have trundle beds. You might want to call back and make sure they were not talking about a Pack-n-Play bed/playpen. That is the only third bed we have ever been able to get. As a matter of fact we're just going to pay a little extra for a connecting room this next trip because of it. My daughter will be 17 and my son will be 9. That is too many full size people sharing two beds. :(

Yep, it's 3 Adults, 3 meal plans, 3 Park Hoppers, etc. They even have names and birthdays.

Having a rollaway bed in a Value Resort room would be an incredibly tight fit assuming it can be done at all. I know there is a charge, if I am remembering correctly, I thought it was around $15.00 a night separate from the additional adult fee for three adults in a room. In addition, this is a request and cannot be guaranteed and is not usually given for the reason of no two adults wanting to sleep together. The only time I have had anything like this, the hotel had messed up and given one of our rooms a King Bed room at a Value resort. Until we could get it corrected the next day, they put a roll away bed into the King Bed room for the youngest child so she wasnt sleeping in the same bed as her parents. This was the solution suggested by the resort and was done at no charge to us. The following day we were switching resorts so it was only for the one night. I hope everything works out well for you! This very interesting, please let us know the outcome. We are also a party of three non-bed sharing adults. We used to have four in our party and had two connecting rooms at Pop, now there are only three of us we stay at Wilderness Lodge in a bunk bed room at considerably more expense, although we love the free dining that comes with it - in fact we love the WL altogether!

Hope everything turns out well for you, have a great holiday

Please let us know how this works out, because I was told a few years ago when I booked at POP that they did not do this. The CM was very nice but said they had trundle beds at some resorts, bunk beds at others, but there was no option for any sort of roll in bed or anything like that.

I don't think it would be a bad idea to call again, explain exactly what you meant, and find out if this really is possible. :)

Yes, I was told by Disney UK that the only option for 3 adults was a bunk bed room at either Wilderness Lodge or Animal Kingdom Lodge,or a suite, and that trundle beds were only available for children.

Pop is our favorite hotel, but as others have said, I don't see how a roll away bed could fit in that room. Last year my aunt came with us and she had one of those electric scooters and just having that in the room made the room soooooooo crowded, and thats a lot smaller than a roll away bed. I would look into upgrading to a room that is larger or like others said at Wilderness Lodge with the bunk beds.

Pop is my family's favorite resort. The beds are on boxes, but they do slide pretty easily. We always push the one bed against the wall adjoining the bathroom, push the other bed right next to it, and put the nightstand next to the beds (between the beds and the door to the outside). We separate the beds enough in the morning so that the mousekeeper doesn't have to move them to make the bed; when it's time to check out, the headboards are "conveniently" mounted to the wall so you know where the beds should go :D. Anyway, it gives you a ton of space and a huge bed.

It is definitely an extra charge for more than 2 adults per night. Last summer my brothers and their girlfriends all stayed together and they paid $20 extra a night because they had 4 adults in the room. We were at All Star Movies. I can't imagine room for a roll away. One of our kids usually ends up sleeping on the floor because our kids don't sleep well together and we have a hard time finding room for him to do that and he is 5 in a sleeping bag!

We tried to move the beds last year and I stopped because the boxes underneath felt very flimsy. LOL I was afraid that I would break it. But it's nice to know that it can be done. :)

We were going to do that too for our next trip because out daughter will be 17 on our next trip and that is just too many adults in one room. We opted for a connecting room for just another $600 more for the 9 nights (with the 20% room only discount).
