Thinking of getting an Iphone...

Hi everyone!!!

I am seriously thinking about getting an iPhone, and I wondering if anyone had one and could let me know what they think. And if they have any cool WDW apps?

Right now I have a Motorolla Q9C, and I am a big texter and I use the internet a lot.

I have an iPhone and absolutely love it!

There are maps available for each of the four theme parks and DTD at WDW and two at DL. They are gradually updating them to be GPS-enabled [all are except DCA]. There was a small cost for the map apps [99 cents each].

If the cost isn't an issue do it!! I had one that I purchased used and LOVED it. Unfortunately the screen pooped out on me due to water damage. The fart sound Apps alone make it worth while.

The WDW map apps also link to the menu's on allearsnet.com, which is really nice.

I really love them, but I wanted to make sure it wasn't my A.D.O.S (Attention Deficit Ooooooooo Shiny) taking over.

I just wish it came in pink...I know it's sad, but I know I can get the pink jelly cover/skin.

I will strongly recommend getting the screen protection film and some form of protective case, it is very easy to drop and break the glass.

Does the film mess up the sensitivity? I would imagine that it would help keeepp it clean, too.

No, the film doesn't affect the sensitivity. It keeps the glass from getting scratched and protects it from damage. I have a Griffin silicon case that has done a fine job of protecting my phone [I'm a bit of a klutz... ]. There are lots of different protective cases out there.

I am also a klutz and have a Paul Frank silicone cover which helps protect it when I drop it. But I must say that I am not a fan of the silicone cover and I am thinking of getting a harder plastic one.

The silicone cover tends to get wrapped up in my hair when I am talking on the phone and it is extremely painful. I know that sounds silly, but when I am going to open a door and do one of those shoulder to phone manuevers - the cover like pulls at my hair. Hard to explain, but painful & irritating none the less.

Also, the cover is a magnet for lint, fuzz, and anything else that may be floating around my purse.

I want an iphone or ipod touch soooo bad! Unfortunately Apple pretty much never gives discounts, so it's one of the few items we have at my job that I save absolutely no money on. Otherwise I would of already bought one.
