Gotcha.
Here's the thing. I see this question asked somewhere on this forum every 2-3 weeks. Sometimes (as is the case right now) there are two identical threads asking the same question. So far, I've never seen an answer that was more than "wait and see" or "I sure hope so".

Well for my friends sake I hope so. They really want to go and do free dining with us. In any case I am sure there will be something out that even if they buy the plan the difference won't be nothing but a "few" bucks.
And I was no trying to be a jerk either...when people start talking about weather or not free dining is good it sort of gets out of hand and the thread becomes hijacked. Just wanted to try and avoid the arguments...

A new round of PIN codes went out last Wednesday that offered "free" dining for many dates in the fall.
Unfortunately, for moderates, you only got the Quick Service plan. Often PIN codes are a harbinger of what's to come, so my guess is it will be offered in the Fall to the general public, and with mods only getting QS.

I hope they do too! We have some good friends that are hoping to get to go when we are there in September. They were not able to book last year during the free dining window so we are all keeping our fingers crossed for a March or April offer! I'll keep my fingers crossed for your friends and you can cross yours for our friends!

WOW, Mods only being offered QS??? Interesting!!! I'm anxious to see if free dining is offer again this fall! Guess you'll all just have to wait and see!

Try signing up to get the planning DVD and click the box at the end of registering for it that will email you Disney updates. You have a good chance of getting and offer doing that.

I too would think history would repeat itself, and they will offer it sometime in April. Hopefully, that's not just wishful thinking on my part. We booked for our normal time frame, end of Sept, and will be making dining reservations since 180 days out will be this week. We're banking on them releasing the offer and we can just slide into that package, and already have our ADR's made.
