We are as happy as you can imagine

When we saw Port Orleans for the first time on pictures here in some TR's and some video's on Youtube we fell in love instantly! So it was a great day last friday!

Not that many news so far

We have to wait until 180 days prior to our trip to do some restaurant reservations. We are not the planning kind of people but we definately want to go to Sci-fi and Be our Guest. The Fastpass+ will have to wait a little longer and the same goes for the seat reservations for the planeflight. Ohw and yeah we are flying with the dreamliner

We have booked to go to Sci-Fi and Be our Guest for our up and coming trip. We booked at the earliest possible opportunity for Be our Guest and still struggled to get a table but in the end we got a reservation. So, make sure you book as soon as you can!!!

Out of interest, where abouts in the Netherlands are you from?

Let's hope that it will work out, since it are much apreciated restaurants!

Thanks for the compliment! Both are great most people say! That's probably why they are so fully booked so fast! Do you prefer River of French? And for the TR you have to wait al least 258 days

Sounds like you have a great trip planned. We love French Quarter, its our favorite resort. It's so nice to come back to a small and relatively quiet resort after a long day. The Halloween parties are so much fun. Have an awesome time.

Thanks, we are so looking forward for French Quarter. Back in 1989 I was in a villa in the Orlando area and last year also a villa but then in Davenport. I hear such good things about POF, and when we saw pictures and movies we fell in love instantly. Let's hope being there in real is even better! Last year Halloween was marvelous. The good thing about this year is that we are just with the 3 of us, instead of 7 and we have more days for Disney so we don't have to rush so much to try to see every park..... for example.. Epcot will be a short visit for Test Track and Ellen. AK also a shorter visit for some rides but MH and DHS will have more days to explore it at the most!

That's a great time to go, it won't be as busy. We love it when it's just the three of us, we can get so much done. We'll be at POFQ from 9/23-10/3. We're going with a group of 7 this time.

Back in 1989 was during summer holidays, and from what I can remember it was very crowded by then. Last yeat in October it wasnt that busy! So I assume that this year in October it will be as ok as last year. And off course the MNSSHP will be on our programm! So you are there a little earlier then we do

And it's great to be with a group, but for us, since it's the 5 year anniversary it's great to be just with the family

By the way you don't have a PTR?

I have to do one I know. Just been so busy, not that its a valid excuse. We're also planning a trip to DL in December just the three of us, so researching that has taken sometime. I'm hoping to get started on my PTR before my 180 day mark in March.

I love how small FQ is it's awesome how easy it is to get around but I think Riverside is SO pretty. Also I think Riverside has a better quick service. I can't pick I love them both for different reasons!

Busy is a valid excuse..... same here, althoug (and well hopefully my boss is not in this forum, he goes to WDW next May) I always look, write and reply in this forum during office hours. During weekends to busy for checking out the forum. Wow in December a second trip this year, that's great! We probably will plan a trip for October 2016 as well

And if you start a PTR count me in for following!

We'll see for ourselves what we think of FQ and maybe sometime in the future (October 2016) we will try Riverside. But I am sure we will love FQ this year! Love to go by boat to DD
