Things to do as I stall for time?!?

I'm trying to plan something at the Magic Kingdom that will occur at a specific time. I need to fill a couple of hours with attractions or event that have set times. In other words rides couldn't count cause the "wait times" for them might vary to much.

What can I do?

-Get on the monorail and resort-hop. The polynesian, grand floridian, and contemporary are only a short monorail ride away and all have great theming
-take a swim at ur hotel
-do a behind the scenes tour (requires advanced planning, but at least you know it is a set amount of time and maybe you could work it around your other event)
-shop!
-grab a turkey leg (or dole whip, churro, ice cream, etc) and sit on a bench, soak up the atmosphere and people watch.
-find a cast member who's not to busy and strike up a conversation with them. It's a great way to find out interesting tidbits about WDW and most of them are really nice
-search for hidden mickeys. if u go to www.hiddenmickeys.org there is a pretty good list to get you started.
-shop some more! (and bring me back something!)
-walk down main street and watch the barbershop quartet perform.
-catch a parade
-if you really want to do attractions get a fast pass for them earler in the day and then you can go back and ride them knowing that you'll only have a 10 minute wait max.
-did i mention you could shop? lol

I hope this helps. Have a great trip!:sohappy:

All of SewIn2Disney's suggestions are great - especially eating and shopping, since you can control the amount of time you spend doing each. Wait times for attractions tend to be unpredictable, but you could always plan on spending a certain amount of time on Tom Sawyer's Island - your biggest variable there would be the wait time for the raft ride over and back, but you could probably guesstimate it fairly accurately. The Liberty Belle is another attraction that would be more time-specific, since the boats leave on the half hour. I've never had to wait for that, and the ride itself takes a bit over 20 minutes, I believe. Good luck!

I did this a while back just to have something to do while waiting at WDW: I took a fresh roll of film (obviously this is before I got my digital camera) and attempted my best to make a photo-mural of Main Street USA. I took radom pics, mixing the closeup levels in my lens and snapped the entire roll. When I developed it after returning home, I had an interesting mix of images that I put together and had haning on my wall for a while.

Yeah I think this one might work. I've been bugging her that she won't let me go on it. She's gonna have to cave in this time, along with the COP.

I figure before I go to the park I'm gonna have a longgggg... breakfast. I would try the crystal palace, but I can't stand Winnie the Pooh" (no offense to pooh fans). Even then there still about 2 more hours to fill. Looke like I'm gonna have to kick into people watching mode for a bit while my "knee" acts up.

Ummm...Sulley, maybe I'm just a bit slow here, but...care to share exactly WHY you need to kill time until a certain event?

...no obligation to tell, if you'd rather not...:lookaroun
