Things they didn't have before you're glad they have now

Like many here, food options and fastpasses are definitely on my list of things I now can't do without.

I would also include photopass and ride photos to the list. Because before them, it was unlikely that there was a single picture that had everyone in my party in it. (even if it was only two of us!)

Now at least we find one opportunity to get a nice professional quality photo of everyone on the trip.

This will really date me, but when Disney got rid of the ticket books with the "A, B, C, D and E-Tickets." The way it is done is so much better with the all access admission. I can't begin to imagine what Disney would be like if we still had to use ticket books.

Does anyone know when they retired the ticket books? I am just curious. I know they were in use in the 70's, but not when I was there in the mid-80's.

Am I dating myself? :(

Yes, you are! But my first time was in 1986 and Splash Mountain, all of Disney Studios & Animal Kingdom, fast passes, Mission: Space, as well as a number of others. Much has changed, but it is always great to go back. Always something new, ( if you don't go every other week), with the comforts of the "old".

Fast Passes definitely!!!! You couldn't accomplish as much in the park as when you are waiting over 90 minutes to get on a ride.

The WDW Bus System is wonderful...it's nice to not have to worry about driving and renting a car. Value Resorts are amazing as well, it's great to have the Disney Magic while being affordable.
