Things that make you cry

I always cried during the finale from the Jeremy Irons version of Spaceship Earth.

That's part of the reason I loathe the current version so much. There's no emotional connection or sense of wonder about it. It's just a crap flash animation of lame scenarios with your head stuck on it.

Ooh, you mean in the future I could actually eat BREAKFAST while watching THE NEWS?!!? OH MY GOD THAT'S AMAZING! [/sarcasm]

LOL its funny because even their projected selections are coming outdated now. I still love the actual ride itself but do not like the Judi Dench and I loate the ending.

Opening show at MK. Does it every time. 5 years ago on DDs 5th birthday (yes, her actual birthday), we got chosen to be family of the day for the opening show (see my avatar pic). Ever since, that show gets me. Although, to be honest, I think I might have teared up even before that happened...

Illuminations usually gets a couple tears as well. It really got me on New Year's with the tag. Wondering if the July 4 tag this summer will do the same.

Living with the Land. Don't know why, it just does.

Looking at my two favorite hangouts in the World, which are both now closed. Adventurer's Club at PI and Catwalk Bar at Studios.

Star light, star bright in wishes, also the part where the characters are talking about dreams coming true. Also, one of the songs they played when it was "The magic, the memories, and you" projection show. I think it was Called "Celebrate the memories" or maybe "Let the memories begin"' or something like that. When we saw that in 2,011 it was the first trip to DIsney World for DH and I, and our DD first trip to a Disney park. Also, this thread! And the video of the Mary Poppins M&G. Lol.

Seeing children meet their favorite Disney characters or any character. It really gets to me when their faces start lighting up. While I didn't cry, I got a little emotional when I meet Marie but didn't cry until I arrived to the All-Star Sports Resort hotel room all by myself and cried myself to sleep.

Seeing Mickey waving goodbye to the guests at night (I remember seeing this in 2004, so I don't know if they still do that often nowadays) that moment hits you especially when it's you're first visit to Walt Disney World. I heard the last time they did this was with Mickey and Minnie for a private event weeks ago for the Magic Kingdom.

If you never seen this, here's an example from Disneyland Paris but it's daytime though.

One Little Spark...
Im pretty sure this video (if you don't want to watch all of it, skip closer to the end) makes everyone cry, including me. Its so sad :(

I loved that parade. It was the very last Park thing I've done every trip since 2010. Celebrate a Dream Come True, then that lonely...lonely MDE ride back to MCO for a late flight back to the "real world".

PRICE!!!
Yes it is Disney, but how much can the Mouse really steal. I know, it is a choice. My choice has been to find the most economical way to go. When you can get better than Deluxe accommodations for less than Value resort prices, that is a problem. We now plan trips to utilize APs at least twice. We are more than willing to stay offsite to save $1,000s per trip. We are even happy to get DVC resorts for less than DVC owners pay in Maintenance fees.

In the end, since there is no lack of people going, Disney has no reason to change the pricing structure.
