Mickey's Toontown Fair - I loved the whimsy, charm, and detail in the character's homes, and the catchy music loop featuring songs from the classic Disney animated shorts from the 30's and 40's. Again, not everything has to be a big budget "E-ticket" to be one of my favorites!

Country Bear Jamboree - easily a Top 5 WDW attraction for me. I love these old-school musical animatronic revues with their charm, cute animal characters, catchy songs, and funny, pun-filled jokes.

Main Street Electrical Parade - I much prefer it over Spectromagic, mainly because I prefer the lively electronic music.

Yes, I love all those, too! Especially the Electrical Parade. Don't get me wrong, I love both shows A LOT, but if push came to shove, I'd take take the Electrical Parade over SpectroMagic any day.

I like Country Bears, too. I was heartbroken when it was closed at Disneyland ten years ago...:(

And to be perfectly honest, I thought that Toontown Fair seemed better suited for Mickey than Main Street, no matter how they slice it.

I honestly think that Mickey should have remained in Toontown Fair. If it was so bad, instead of bulldozing the land completely (well, more of it than not), they should've expanded that land big time, maybe even go beyond the train tracks if it became necessary.

Fastpass. I just don't understand why people don't like them...

I'm guessing people don't like Fastpass when they don't have one at that time. (which maybe they aren't using it properly...we almost always have another as soon as one is valid)

Maybe it's like drivers v pedestrians. When you are a driver, you hate pedestrians in your way...when you're a pedestrian you hate drivers in your way.

Maybe they don't like it because they don't use it properly and find themselves without one. I personally LOVE Fastpass and find it extremely useful.

Sounds Dangerous...there I said it. It is an exhibit in sound and it is what it is. I don't love it but besides the need fix volume issues in the mainshow I don't have hatred for it.

The exhibits at the end make it worth it for me regardless. Especially when a screen on WDW property can tell me that I am a regular Jimmy Macdonald.

CROWDS
Don't get me wrong, I would always dread heavy crowds prior to the economic collapse of '08. But after witnessing first-hand what high gas prices and the weak economy did to the tourism industry during the recession...a packed theme park is a much welcomed sign ANY day. True, it might make planning our day a little more hectic, lines may be longer, but my family & I can survive and still enjoy our vacation...so bring it!
I know some of you may disagree, which is fine. But having worked in tourism since 2003, our careers are held at the mercy of the almighty gas pump and whether or not the public can financially see fit to take their families on vacations. There have been some *scary* moments in the past decade alone. We've learned to never take heavy crowds, lines, traffic, you name it for granted ever again. It is welcomed $$$ flowing in, and is an asset to the future stability of WDW, or whatever business is impacted.

(Please Note: The one exception to the above paragraph are those TOUR GROUPS which push, shove, line-jump, and chant inside rides/shows.)

A few of my favorite things

1.) Epcot I can spend a whole day(including getting there when the park opens and EMH) there but everyone else hates it and they say they only go because "it's part of the Disney experience". I love the attractions, the surroundings are awesome, and the food is great. I
2.)The Peak Season I love Disney when its hot and crowded theres something weird about going to a cool empty park.
3.)The 25th Anniversary Pink Castle Disney got so many complaints about how hideous the castle was. I've even seen it on here under discussion about the 40th anniversary about how it was the Pepto Bismol pink castle and how they never want it to come back. As for myself I thought it was beautiful pink it was favorite color. I saw it when I was 7 and liked it way better than the blue castle(the original castle grew on me).
And Last But not least Spectromagic First off I loved the music from Spectromagic it was so whimsical while MSEP sounds like a bad creepy drug trip. Don't get me wrong I like the MSEP parade itself the music just is creepy.

Surely you must have the two mixed up! Just kidding, to each his own. Welcome, and great first post!

I don't mind the bus system. As someone else said, I'm on vacation and I don't want to think about driving anywhere. So I have to wait an extra few minutes. No big deal. Have never had a problem with Magical Express either.
I have enjoyed the dining plan my last 2 trips. I got to try new places that I probably would have skipped if paying cash. I don't necessarily like making ADR's so far in advance but it's the way it is now I guess.

Okay, time for me to spill the beans...

Stitch's great escape - I really don't mind this ride. Critics just want the original ride back because it was better, which is true, but this ride really isn't bad. It's funny to me and I go on it every year..dont judge me..:lookaroun

Food Rocks - I understood that basically nobody ever went to, or heard of this attraction. The show was funny enough to keep watching. The only thing Disney messed up on was cheap animatronics, that's what brang it down.

Ellen's Energy Adventure - Some say this ride is boring. Others say it's great. This is not boring, the original was boring. You would never think Ellen or Jeapordy would go with energy until you go here! It's the funniest 45 minute ride I've ever been on!

Spaceship Earth - People don't like the ending of the ride. The fact is, you don't like the ending because you knew what was there before the vision of the future video. The people who haven't seen the original version really do get a kick out of it, and I do to!

Wonders of Life - I just had to mention this. Everyone always said Wonders of Life was outdated, and people never went to it. That's not entirely true, as Cranium Command in my vision will never outdate unless you can get some new footage. Body Wars was perfect for those who can take on the intense version of Mission: Space. Not to mention, it had one of the best cafes in the disney parks where you didn't even have to wait in line, and the only place to find a Wonder Waffle! :sohappy:

The end.

I also don't mind the Dino-Rama section of the Animal Kingdom. I thought Primeval Whirl was fun.

I also liked Goofy About Health at the Wonders of Life. That one did not get the recognition it deserved.

You think they only want AE back, and they don't think Stitch is a bad attraction?

Well not entirely, but I actually don't mind the new stitch ride. I mean, what else could actually take the place in that tiny area except a new meet and greet or a return of AE?

RocknRollercoaster. A lot of people claim it is very rough and although it is not the smoothest ride ever, I feel compared to other vekomas and many coasters out there especially..this thing is ice.

I agree. I've been on almost 300 coasters and of the approximately 30 Vekoma and Arrow multiloopers I've ridden (Vekoma multiloopers use Arrow track patents and often Arrow trains as well), Rock and Roller Coaster is EASILY my favorite in that genre by those companies!

No OTSR "headbanging" whatsoever in the inversions, and I love the sense of speed generated by the launch that carries throughout the ride. I also like how even though there are inversions, they are spread out and don't dominate the ride, which is often the case with multiloopers.

Throw in the great Disney theming and you have a true coaster classic that really surprised me - given my taste in coasters and bias in favor of coasters without inversions and without OTSRs, and given the manufacturer, it could have been a disapointment for me, but I ended up really enjoying it and liking it enough to ride it regularly, over and over again at rope drop! ;)

Shades of Green. Its pretty much next to magic kingdom so wheres the monorail? idc if there is a monorail there or not. they are great but they wake everyone up and i dont mind the buses except if its 4 in themorning and i was just in mk:)

One Mans Dream-i love that place enough said

Stitches Great Escape- the whole point of the movie was to show Stitch really isn't bad and personally i think the ride is kinda funny
