They need an ocean section

No thanks. Also we already have The Seas at Epcot. Parks are trying to get away from the image of being awful at looking after sea creatures. Shoving a killer whale or dolphins back in a tank would go against that, and bring up the whole horiffic story of how Disney and SeaWorld actually captured the animals originally.

Some things are best left out of theme parks, if you want to see sea life, go on a vacation that's actually for that. I recommend the many guided tours around the Whitsunday Islands down in Australia.

Watch the movie Blackfish, it’s so disturbing.

I do love aquariums for animals like fish, jellyfish, stingrays, etc. I know they’re still in captivity but with plenty of space to swim I think the scale is different for them.

Everything is disturbing when you see how the sausage is made. You basically don't want to get too detailed in anything or you'll leave completely disillusioned with reality. Go watch how basically any food is made or what goes into harvesting or even growing plants (fruits, vegetables, grains). Then watch how anything is manufactured.

I don’t disagree, but there is a difference between global supply chains that have provided unbelievable abundance for millions or billions of people at a very steep cost, and letting a serial killer whale have access to new victims so that Sea World could have shows. The negligence there was staggering, and we’re not talking about something with a philosophically debatable upside like providing food for millions.

Could it be done better today? Maybe. But at this point, what’s the point? Marine mammals aren’t meant to live in pool like conditions, and when it’s been attempted the results have not been good.
