Nope, never been a fan of the movie or Burtons work. But thats not my reson for saying dont add it to the HM. It simply wouldnt enhance enough to the experience to mess with whats there. I think giving it its own area would be fine and agree that more merchandise for this and so many other Disney characters/ films is much needed.

Not a nightmare fan at all. Very, Very glad Florida avoids the California overlay of the mansion. I'm just not a fan of that whole animation approach. No James and the Giant Peach, either. :)

I don't think WDW should do the Haunted Mansion overlay, but it would be cool if they created Halloweentown with the same kind of immersive theming they gave Galaxy's Edge and Pandora. I'd put Halloweentown on Tom Sawyer Island or the plat of land north of Tom Sawyer Island.

there needs to be a nightmare before Christmas attraction at Walt Disney World. I'm a huge fan and it's my favorite movie I have so many ideas for rides and events i wish they would do the nightmare before Christmas layover to are haunted mansion and they need more metch
No, Nix, Never, Nay Nay, Negative, Uh, Uh, Notta, Non Consent, Over my dead body, Not in favor of! Even if it were good, it would be very problematic to have HM closed for the time required to set it up and take it down. Disneyland is more of a local park and therefore more easily accepted by the primary visitors.

Whoa. 2 and 1/2 year bump. NBC overlay of HM in WDW would be awful. Closing the attraction for weeks for set up, and then again to reset is bad enough, but the overlay itself isn't worth it. Not sure why the OP feels that because he's a fan of NBC, it needs to happen. Smells more like trolling to me considering it was their first and only post.

I think it's possible the OP doesn't have the nostalgia for the original Haunted Mansion and doesn't mind the change. Regardless, I agree that the overlay shouldn't happen in Florida as it robs international guests of the opportunity to see the classic version of the Haunted Mansion attraction.

Still, I do think Nightmare Before Christmas is popular enough to warrant an actual permanent attraction at the Disney parks. In fact, not only is it popular enough, but there is a lot you could explore from an Imagineering perspective with the world of Halloweentown. It has potential.

Very true on all points. The part I bolded above is what I find ridiculous. He doesn't care about the ride, so he thinks it should change to his liking? Seems extremely self-centered to think that because you don't care about something that it should change to your liking. If that's not the case, the other obvious situation like I said... a troll trying to get folks all heated up.
