What kind of tickets did you get...if it's any type of annual pass then you're out of luck and it can't be added to a room key...otherwise it should be able to but don't know why they'd give you a voucher which leaves me to believe you got an annual pass.

It is my understanding that you can add it to your room key but I have never tried it with a UK ticket. Shouldn't be a problem though.

As Yoda said, it's doable, at least for regular MYW, but I don't see it being a problem for the UK tix. However, you may need to ask a few times to get it done, or even get a supervisor as some CM's don't know how to do it.

A 14 Day (and 21 Day) ticket from the UK CANNOT be added to your room key - the max they can do is 10 Days.

We exchanged our voucher for regular 14 Day Tickets and had the room key seperate

Thanks captain....the UK ticket being longer than 10 was what I was unsure about. Thanks for the clarification.

That's what I'd heard for a long time, but I recall some point within the past year reading on here that Disney had added the ability to put the UK 14 and 21-day tickets onto room keys. (It may have even been posted from JPVonDrake. I'll have to do a search)

But I guess it doesn't hurt to ask when you get to check-in. And if they DO do it, make sure to post on here and let us know!

No, 14 day tickets cannot be added onto VING stock. Please don't let your resort try, because you may ask someone who thinks they can do it

This is the thread to which I referred to earlier:
http://forums.wdwmagic.com/showthread.php?t=293716

It includes both a UK poster who said they'd done it on their previous three trips, as well as JPVonDrake listing the tickets that cannot be added to the KTTW card, and the UK tickets were not among them.

Not saying that the info is right or wrong, but I'm just putting it out there for the sake of including it in the conversation...

Actually, my sister did get her 14 day ticket added to her room key September 07 with no problems (she wasn't on the dining plan or anything else if that makes a difference).

I tried it in April 08 but I was told it's not possible. We were staying in two different hotels if that makes a difference?

It can't be done (as I posted yesterday)

Upon check in at AKL on Dec 25th I showed the voucher for the UK 14 Day passes to the receptionist. She said she couldn't do it and directed me to Concierge. The girl at Concierge said that she couldn't do it and said it could be done at any of the park ticket booths. At EPCOT we were told that the 14 and 21 Day tickets couldn't be added to the room key as the most they can handle is the 10 Day MYW ticket.

I asked a friend who was a front desk CM for a number of years, she worked at 2 or 3 different resorts. She also confirmed that the 14 and 21-day tickets can be put on a room key. (When I mentioned the story of a CM crashing a reservation, she chalked it up to a poorly-trained CM)

Perhaps they can't exchange the voucher at the Front Desk, but once you have the actual ticket it sounds like it's no problem for an experienced front desk CM.
