theme park parking during EMH

Since EMH is only available to resort guests, I was wondering if you have to take Disney transportation to the parks or can you still drive and park in the parking lots. We take full advantage of Disney transportation; however, on Epcot EMH we hate the boat from the Yacht club to Epcot and it is a long walk to the gate and then over to future world so we were wondering if we could eliminate the walking and drive over and park in the lots.

Yep you can still drive over, we've done it a few times to avoid the long lines at the bus/boat afterwards.

As a watercraft cm last year for my college program, I can promise you that the trams go down 1-2 hours AFTER the park closes...no matter what the event is

I guess I am talking mroe about morning EMH as you can only get into the parks with resort ID so I thought maybe they close the parking lots so the only way you can get to the parks is to be a guest using resort transportation.

No you can drive and park, we always do because I hate the bus. Make sure to put your resort parking ticket thingie in the window so you don't have to pay to park though. :)

I have to laugh at this. When I went to the MK on V-day 2008 there was morning EMH and I was surprised, not one CM checked to see if I had my resort ID on me.

We always drive, but that s because of our 4 kids, stoler, etc. Its erie though when your dropped of from the tram, and theres only a few cards every row that late at night. Which, I have always wondered how people say alot of the EMH guests are day visitors, when the parking lot after we leave is really really empty. I mean really empty. Last time we had the tram to ourselves back in February last year at the Magic Kingdom
