Seriously though, I love almost all seafood, my DWifey (Carolyn) is a total shrimp fiend, that looks extremely delicious, and I love the Christmas theme goin’ on there…!!!

Tasty Zaytoon Authentic Lebanese Restaurant and Market

BABA GHANNOUJ- Traditional Baba Ghannouj - smoked eggplant pureed with tahini, lemon, and garlic and drizzled with Zaytoon Olive Oil.​

ARNABEET MEKLEE- Fried Cauliflower, sprinkled with cumin, and served with garlic-lemon tahini sauce.​

FALAFEL (6 PIECES)- Fried balls of ground chickpeas with Lebanese spices. Served with garlic-lemon tahini dip.​

TABBOULEH -Parsley, tomato, onion, and bulgar wheat, chopped fine and tossed with lemon and Zaytoon Olive Oil.​

SHAKSHOUKA-Three fried eggs simmering in specially seasoned tomato sauce with onions and garlic and served in a clay dish.​

KANAFE-Melted mixed cheese topped with a semolina crust and served with a floral syrup. Garnished with pistachio.​

BAKLAVA-Different "methods" of pastry dough with a variety of nut fillings and flavors.​

They don’t look bad, but, yes, they don’t look super appetizing, either.
Coincidentally enough, my next food pic in line is of more appetizing looking and, most likely, tasting nachos…!!!

No, I have actually lost weight on all these cruises, to the tune of about 5 pounds, due to all the excursions and walking around these large ships, so it’s actually been a win-win, at least as far as I’m concerned…!!!!!
