Construction continued today so we needed something easy for dinner, so we whipped up Spaghetti and Meatballs and of course garlic bread and salad.

I got pasta from my local Pizza Restaurant. I think they went way overboard on the red sauce. Italians would say " too much gravy".

A lot of sauce but cooked tomato sauce is good for the heart. I can see some places looking for more profit. Less product, more sauce , more profit.

Agree. They cut down on the pasta but wanted to fill the bowl. It's all about profit.
I have many choices for such dishes. Next time I'll give my business to someone else.

I’ve worked in the food business back in the day. The tricks we were told by the chef to be short on product and more in sauce and other cheap items to increase profit margins. I wouldn’t eat there on my own time. When San Angel Inn at Mexico / Epcot cut out the complimentary chips and salsa they now charge over $5 for chips salsa and guacamole if one wants to order before the meal comes. I’m sure guests will pay for something that used to be free ( but now the order comes with guac ).
