In true Disney fashion, it's taking them too long to get it rolling, but I just meant they felt like a response to Potter was needed. I disagree that it wasn't at least in part an impulse move. Potter opened the summer before and Disney needed some buzz to get fans excited about what they thought was a hugely successful franchise in Avatar. AK needed something as I said, but I don't think Disney would make it "Avatarland" if they could go back.If that is the case, it was the slowest "knee jerk" that ever existed. They have been planning this probably before Uni started planning HP. It might be a mistake or it might not, time will tell. But, it was hardly an impulse move. DAK needed something and this was the closest that they could do to match the location in any degree. Since none of us have actually seen the final result, I, for one, am going to withhold my opinion until I see what we get.
