From the official Disneyland PR site:

At Disneyland, the fun awaits on Indiana Jones Adventure, Space Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad and King Arthur Carrousel, to name a few, and new magic is coming to Haunted Mansion. At Disney California Adventure, guests will be immersed in the stories and adventures of the Incredicoaster, Toy Story Midway Mania!, The Little Mermaid ~ Ariel’s Undersea Adventure, and more.

The Haunted Mansion mention came from the D23 article -

Ah, thank you! The copy on the Disney Parks Blog is similarly worded, but strangely it varies slightly:

Shanghai is getting ready to start their 5th Anniversary Celebration. Sounds better then WDWs. New nighttime Show called “Illuminate”, New Anniversary Pre Parade along with a Anniversary overlay to Mickey’s Storybook Express. And they announced new high energy soundtracks coming for the new entertainment.

I agree but at least they are getting a full new nighttime show rather than just a Anniversary Tag. And as far as we know we are not getting any type of Anniversary parade or any overlay to FoF.

Don’t get me wrong, I happen to like HEA, and obviously we haven’t had any fireworks in over a year now, unlike Shanghai. But that’s not the point lol. I could deal with a HEA 50th Tag, but there’s no excuse why WDW couldn’t do something with FoF while it hasn’t been running. Granted we don’t know this for fact that they haven’t updated it, but I think we would have heard some type of rumor by now.

I have to wonder if Illuminate and HKDL's new Night Show which we have no details on...are carbon copies? Like SDL's Ignite and DLP's Illuminations?

I know we shouldn’t be comparing Shanghai to WDW. Unfortunately both are at different stages of “Covid”. Shanghai happens to be way ahead of WDW in terms of entertainment resuming. Other factors to of course.

What concerns me more than WDW is HKDL. HKDL seems to be in no hurry to start 15th Entertainment or return regular shows like Flights Of Fantasy or PTN(if PTN is in the 15th plans of course)

Could that be complicated by the fact that those parades use a number of western performers that may not yet be able to return to Hong Kong?

I know that Shanghai has been less strict on using westerners for character representation than the other parks, so perhaps it's just not an issue there, but that alone might keep Hong Kong and Tokyo from getting back fully to normal for awhile. Hong Kong has also had much stricter covid measures than, say, the bulk of the US and shut down because of much lower covid thresholds being reached.

And pre-covid HKDL endured a very difficult year marred by protests in the city and incredibly low attendance. They might have decided that at the moment it's better to concentrate their energy on their continuing construction projects instead.

Never paid attention to how many people outside of the Parks' home country work there.

You could have a good point

We know Believe Sea Of Dreams is testing at TDS. We don't know how far along the show is or the date yet.

Guess no Disney park currently has a light parade 😂. Unless you want to count Nightfall Glow. Still think this is WDWs perfect opportunity, if not a brand new parade, to purchase one of the sets of PTN or, in the perfect world, Dreamlights lol. Have it prepped backstage and ready to go for October. But clearly not happening since not one insider is currently aware of such thing. Could it be a top secret tight lipped thing? Of course.
But surely they couldn’t ship MSEP or PTN over from CA come Summer (June or July) and have it ready by October. I don’t think. MSEP maybe since they have experience shipping that.

I would count Nightfall Glow as a Night Rain Parade just what TDL intended it to be. The best Rain Parade in the world actually!

As far as the ideal 50th, a huge Oct 1st suprise would be more than welcomed!!!! But lately, I want to get over the Returning Entertainment hump before we ask for more!

No offense to you at all here or you personally. In general unfortunately that’s exactly the mindset WDW wants from guests for the 50th. Their taking advantage of the fact that the pandemic caused entertainment to be shut down for over a year. Now they can promote the pre covid entertainment return for the 50th and get out of having to debut new things. They know guests will be super excited to see pre covid entertainment again and those high expectations that would normally be there for new entertainment, isn’t there right now. At least so they think or hope lol.
Harmonious just happens to be a bonus due to its timing in finishing construction. Pretty sad, (that we currently know of), that Harmonious will be the only new offering. It’s MKs Anniversary not Epcots.

this exactly, and as I just mentioned in another thread the ripping out of the tiki room for yet more Moana (if turns out true like is being reported) then thats the end of it for me, happy 50th. That's another and final decision of idiocy that will make me not give disney anymore money. after the 50th is over I still wouldnt be for it but to do this now.....

I see your point, I do, but I want to see that Hump safely cleared ASAP!! I don't want to see March 2020 Entertainment wait till Oct 1st to get going if it can be done earlier safely.
