Uh..no..SOJI = Society of Junior Imagineers....same exact idea that you want..and it already has members..it would probobly be better to just join that one...

Oh..and just so you know...the only way you can get your ideas into imagineering..is to work there...

ANY (and this rule is NOT bendable no matter what you have heard) unsolicited idea (meaning anything sent to them in any form) will be immediatly rejected and thrown away. They do this to avoid lawsuit.

Just do it for fun..its better that way ;)

hey chad if you want to see some of my ideas, check out my Disneyland Virginia thread. I have made two parks, Magic Kingdom and Disney's America. I have descriptions of my major rides, and the lands, I am almost done with Disney's America, and I am getting ready to start my 3rd park Disney Civilizations it will be based on different civilizations like Egypt, Rome, Greece, etc. Do you contact each other by e mails or do you post your ideas here?

Sure thing. :)
You should be accepted into the board withing a few days..
It's a hidden board under the Imagineering section (same section as this one) Just make sure you're logged in while you're looking for it.

So you want members of their club to join your club? Wouldn't that be "taking" their members away? :veryconfu

Go ahead wannabe walt! Start your own club. Don't listen to the others who say what would be easier. I am sure your group could do great, even be more productive. I will happily Join. Bradley/14/ride ideas, design, story

Please don't listen to them telling you what would be easier. Don't ask them about their club. Start your own theme park. Create rides. Competition is healthy in this case.AS the robert frost poem goes:

Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth.

Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same.

And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back.

I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I--
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.

Good luck, please contact me at BradBoy007@aol.com, I would love to be a member.

LOL~!!~!~!~~!~

I think you are all have forgotten who RUNS the boards... Steve does... Now if you want to have a " Club " Within a club(* imagineer section *) Then go RIGHT ahead.. But dont expect Steve to JUMP to your demands in adding another hidden board for the exactlly same reason. Both imagineer clubs are the same. It sounds to me like you just looked over at SOJI and wanted to do one also. THat has been around for along time. Why didnt you name it ( The Walt Disney Imagineers Club )? I figure an imagineer as someone that can actually make it happen. When all we can do technially is creative writing, and drawing. We cant " technically " make it happen..

Again im not aiming or flamming anyone im just telling everyone willing to read this how i feel. I suggest you go join SOJI if you havent already. Why would we want another identical society?

You said that it was diffrent. How?

Thankyou
Justin...

If you want to start your own club, more power to ya; however I hope you realize as Now Inc. pointed out submitting your ideas to Disney will be fruitless. They will not even begin to consider to barley glance at what you have done, especially after the whole Wide Wrold of Sports law suite. I just wanted to make you aware of the fact that your main "selling" point is essentailly false, and then yes, there is no difference between the group you are starting and SOJI.

Secondly, if you are starting your own group why did you join SOJI in the first place?, not to sound indignit, but it seems a little peculiar to do so.

BTW I love the Frost poem and I have lived most of my life "traveling on the road less traveld by" but as I have found occasionally Seinfeild was right and there is a good reason that the road is less traveled by.

First, he does NOT want to join an existing club, he wants to start his own (at least that was the impression I got from his post) It isn't clear as to whether he wants to start it here (wdwmagic forums), or someplace else.

Of course, there is room in the world for many different groups with similar purposes. However, many people might think it "inconsiderate" to visit another group strictly for recruiting members for a competing group. I suspect that Steve wouldn't appreciate it if I came on here and started asking people to start another WDW fan site with me.

First, he does NOT want to join an existing club,

He became a member of SOJI several days ago made several posts even one asking the rest of the group their opinion on one of his ideas, then he posted this thread to start a new club, meanwhile continuing to add to his idea posted in SOJI.

I just think that this is rather odd and don't really see why he has joined a club days before he decides to try to start his own which will do the exact same thing.
