Disney is sending Guests a company-wide survey about their brands, franchises, and offerings, including The Simpsons.

The answers include “Character meet & greets at the Disney theme parks” and “New lands or attractions at the Disney theme parks.”

Since this is a new survey, I figured it was worth mentioning.

Their problem is going to be it needs to be done REALLY well because there is no doubt it will be compared to Universal. If I was taking a guess, I'd bet opening a Moe's is high on that list based on their most recent builds/announcements, but the land needs to be knocked out of the park as well. Personally, I wouldn't take the risk if I was in charge. I get it's one of their largest IPs, and I can see the fit, but it's a very large risk for much less of a reward in my opinion.

Hoping they send me this survey so I can say "yes, but only if you put it in Animation Courtyard in place of Disney Junior* and/or Launch Bay". Just... put anything else there. Animation Experience being replaced by Launch Bay just makes the whole thing feel off. If you can preserve Mermaid, great, if not, there's not any loss otherwise.

Simpsons just does not belong in AK or MK. Epcot... maybe it could work, but it'd have to be so specific that it doesn't fit Disney's current design ethos. So, in other words, would inevitably NOT fit Epcot.

I also wouldn't mind an out and out "20th Century Studios Backlot" land in HS with Simpsons, Planet of the Apes, and Alien attractions, but, not likely, I guess...

The fact that another option for this question is “Live action TV” makes me think that this is probably a generic question that they asked for all of their properties, and they have the same list of answers for all of them, even if one or more don’t make as much sense for certain properties. A live action Simpsons TV show would be insane.

So I wouldn’t take it as proof they’re actively thinking about it.

But honestly I wouldn’t mind Simpsons in Animation Courtyard. But that’s about the only place I could see it going. Anywhere else it wouldn’t fit.

That doesn't matter anymore to them. Look at Frozen, Guardians, the new Cars attraction.
