This is weird. I guess it's some organization trying to step in and get some clout?McWhorter Foundation To Sue Nelson Peltz & Trian Partners For Market Manipulation: C.K. McWhorter Protecting Millennial & Gen Z Shareholder Interests and Exposing Short-Term Tactics
PALM BEACH, Fla., March 29, 2024 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — In a groundbreaking move aimed at preserving economic integrity and ensuring the long-term sustainability of m…www.google.com
Why do you suddenly care who key players are? You're profoundly uninterested in who Peltz, Rasulo, and Perlmutter are, to the extent of rejecting all evidence of their past words and actions.Who is this person? Lots of PR news stories on him but nothing of substance.
This sudden contestant appears to exist merely in self-serving PR missives. But you're not rooting for him.
Is CK McWhorter a “key player”? Is he a real person? Who is he? He seems to exist on self-published press releases. Why do you suddenly care who key players are? I don't care who McWhorter is because the lawsuit is almost certainly meaningless PR. I'm just amused at the hypocrisy of Trian advocates like yourself frantically demanding a full investigation of some unimportant sideshow while steadfastly refusing to acknowledge almost any of the history of the men you want to give power. It's a shame Peltz's, Rasulo's, and Perlmutter's past actions and words are so darn inconvenient to you. This sudden contestant appears to exist merely in self-serving PR missives.

Or are you so blinded in your Peltz hate you’ll find common cause with a purported chairman of a private foundation that may or may not exist? None of your alarm bells are going off with this one?
So when someone posts a story about someone, asking “who is this guy?” is “demanding a full investigation?”I don't care who McWhorter is and the lawsuit is almost certainly meaningless PR. Welcome to this little bit of fun we call “jokes”But you're not rooting for him.
No, I say, "oh look, a sideshow with no impact," and return to what actually matters. So when someone posts a story about someone, asking “who is this guy?” is “demanding a full investigation?”
Peltz, Rasulo, and Perlmutter are very known quantities. Their past and recent statements have been front and center in VoteDisney’s media blitz justifying the retention of their BoD candidates. Regardless of how this shakes out on Wednesday, no one can say they didn’t know who they were voting for.
He just announced he’s suing JP Morgan Chase too. And his “foundation” has claimed grants to Ferrari and Sotheby’s.While I agree that Peltz has a history of milking short term money out of companies he invests in I don't see where McWhorter can prove damage and how he has standing to sue. I'm happy he has money to be a fly in Nelson's face but I can't see much that would be changed by this suit.
“It doesn’t matter if CK McWhorter’s a scam artist, what matters is he’s right!”No, I say, "oh look, a sideshow with no impact," and return to what actually matters.
You and your very likeminded pro-Trian posters consistently refuse to acknowledge what is known about those "known properties."
This is thin gruel even by your standards. You're desperately trying to discredit opinions based on piles of reputable sources and decades of hard evidence about who Peltz, Rasulo, and Perlmutter are because one unknown guy claims to agree with them?“It doesn’t matter if CK McWhorter’s a scam artist, what matters is he’s right!”
Again, asking “who is this guy?” and asking basic questions of a story someone else share is not a deep dive. It’s a quiet Sunday. It’s sad some like you were so quick to hit the “like” button on a story featuring someone with whom you share a common cause, but my dude, that press release was so obviously sketchy and scammy I’m embarrassed you co-signed so quickly. This is thin gruel even by your standards. It's almost like you are once again trying to distract from the history and statements of the people you support.

Try and exhibit a bit more skepticism for such things going forward, and don’t click on links in unsolicited emails!
I have no issues with whatever happens at this point. This hasn't been the Disney I loved in a long time.I "liked" a new news story.
You're reaching here. Anything to distract, I suppose.
To get us back on track, I'll repost this bit from a November Business Insider article. Strangely, you and the rest of the pro-Trian posters didn't comment:
"Perlmutter has told people he wants to break up Disney as much as he can and gain control of some of the IP, and "people underestimate Ike at their peril," said a source familiar with Perlmutter's conversations."
It really depends on what the “Plan” is…I "liked" a new news story.

Doubt that the racist Peltz will get on the board.Don't worry Disney is heading in that direction once Peltz gets on the board.
That doesn’t seem to matter much to the investorsDoubt that the racist Peltz will get on the board.
It’s Peltz, Perlmutter, and Rasulo’s fault first and foremost. Secondary fault lies with those who vote for Trian. Iger bares blame, but it comes farther down the list. That doesn’t seem to matter much to the investors
It’s not a bunch of guys with 10 shares with mouse ears and pin lanyards here…it’s big chunks who care about return.
Nelly is a quack…but if he’s promising more money - no matter what - then that might be enough
And it’s Iger and the boards fault…its bad corporate governance that allowed the proxy war
This is a breathtakingly selfish point of view.I have no issues with whatever happens at this point. This hasn't been the Disney I loved in a long time.
