Ever go into Epcot, and see a 2 hour wait at Test Track, and just think, why?

Don't get me wrong, and I'm hoping I don't get ripped apart for this, because tt is a great ride, one of my top 5 in epcot for sure. But I don't know that it's such a great ride, that it's worth the 2 hr wait.

Am I the only one who feels like this? Who just doesn't get it?

thanks!

Anyone who waits an hour for Test Track ought to have their head examined. 2 hours? No way.

I couldn't tell you the last time I saw the wait under 60 minutes, when I was interning in innoventions, I felt like I was always answering with at least 80 minutes when a guest would ask me how long the wait was at tt

Test Track was the first "thrill ride" at Epcot and it got a lot of attention as a result. When MS first opened, ridership at TT dwindled slightly but as the attraction lost it's favor, TT got it back. Imagine being someone whose never been to Epcot or never ridden TT... you walk over to that side of Future World and you see a big planet in front of you, an oddly shaped building to your left and you see and hear cars screaming by to your right in additon to screams and hoots and hollers. What's probably going to grab your attention first? :)

It has less to do with Test Track being great and more to do with Epcot not having enough big draw attractions.

Oh, and of course, Fast Pass, which creates the long standby line.

This...I love Epcot, but think they could use a few more big attractions.

I don't think I have ever ridden TT without using FP. I waited in the standby line once. It didn't move. I got out.

I don't think there is a single ride on Earth worth a 2 hour wait. It is just a ride!

It's not usually a two hour wait, even on busy summer days. If someone waited two hours, it had probably broken down, which it is infamous for doing.

I always say you aren't a real WDW fan until you've been stopped dead on Test Track. ;)

I've always really liked Test Track. It was a good ride. Have to see how it is when they re-open it.

Yep, and the sad thing is, that line can be physically VERY short. Like maybe 100 people in it. You still wait an hour. Yet the ride can handle nearly 1800 people an hour (under ideal conditions). Fastpass creates the long standby line.

See, now if someone came to me, said that this is the only trip they're ever gonna be able to afford wdw, I'd tell them to wait for soarin', no matter the wait. TT is a great ride, but (again) imho, soarin is mind blowing

I don't think any ride in Epcot (these days) is mind-blowing.

There aren't many attractions that I think are worth a 2 hour wait.

The ride wait times that really amaze me are the ones for Soarin. I can't see myself waiting more than 15 minutes to ride Soaring.

Sorin has far longer wait times than the TT...no fast pass....no Sorin

i driver faster every day on my commute home. no need to wait in line to sit in a car going 65mph. One of the more over rated rides in my opinion. It's fun once a trip, but not worth the waits by any means. I like how one poster said that it has more to do with lack of quality rides at the park than anything.
