The Voices of Liberty coming to Disneyland!

Announced today by the Disney Parks Blog, Disneyland will be getting its own Voices of Liberty group! Really looking forward to seeing them perform inside the Opera House

After nearly three decades, the talented 8-part a cappella group The Voices of Liberty continues to “wow” guests at Epcot in Walt Disney World Resort with their amazing harmonies on such American classics as “Ol’ Man River” and “Yankee Doodle.”

Today, I’m pleased to tell you Disneyland park is getting its very own Voices of Liberty, bringing one of the great traditions of Walt Disney World Resort to the Disneyland Resort for the first time. Soon, guests from sea to shining sea will be able to enjoy the impeccable sounds of this beloved group. The new Voices of Liberty will hold court at the Main Street Opera House, also home to The Disneyland Story presenting Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln.

Wow DLR entertainment is on a role this summer, so many new shows. I'm very happy to see DL get its own set.

Also in the comments section it's mentioned they'll officially debut on June 15th(big surprise there ) through the summer season. I wonder if they'll just be a summer offering or something that will stay for a longer term, off season I can see them being weekends only.

It has been confirmed for us today officially by Disney that the popular musical group will be extending its engagement through the holiday season. No official word yet on a holiday musical set but it is very likely that their setlist will change similar to the group in EPCOT.

I really hope they stay until next June. I love them at Epcot and would like to see them at DL in june since I'm not planning on going to WDW until 2014.

Excellent! Even if they haven't gotten the huge crowds at Lincoln like they were hoping, it will at least get me there more often!

I have seen them a few times in DL now and I really enjoyed it. I still prefer the group in Epcot, but it is nice to have an option here on the West Coast.
