Can't tell if that's sarcasm or not....but the LOTR rights have not been obtained by anyone yet. That's just a rumor.

No Diagon is part of it........They are opening a "big" ride as I was informed each of the next 5 summers including HP this summer

But seriously, most of us in the know are pretty sure that Universal has the Lord of the Rings rights, they just haven't acted upon them yet. But that is soon about to change.

2015: ?? (The JP expansion and Gardens of Allah museum are small)
2016: Kong
2017: ??
2018: ??
Everyone is saying 2015-2018 is going to see the E ticket construction shift to IOA so those areas are likely spots
I think we'd know about Universal having the rights to LOTR since the media wouldn't shut up
Post-Kong intrigues me most

I keep hearing about the Kong rumors but the person I know said it is not 100% yet so that is why I have yet to say it. No need to put out rumors of information that the head electrical guys at Uni do not have answers for

So, land prepping for Kong seems to have started and now it appears Universal DOES have the LOTR rights? Oh what a good day!!!!

I'm still not thrilled for the rumored Kong ride in IOA, as I just don't think it fits (especially next to JP despite their jungle themes) and it takes room away from a larger, more deserving JP expansion. If they insisted on making an attraction on the remake (overrated IMO), I would rather them have gone with the original rumor (Disaster) as Kong belongs @ the Studios.

Because *Earthquake* was the original and better. Plus there is no movie based of Disaster. IF you are going to be a studios, may as well have an attraction that attracts people outside the theme park. (Movies, Cartoons, Shows, Books, etc.) That's why it should be replaced. IMHO
