The top floor of COP

I think it is empty space... the basement has the motors... the top prolly has excess space and computers or something.... I wondered that once too...

Time to take a wild ride into my unreliable memory... Wasn't there originally a city of the future model on another floor at one of the COP's previous incarnations (either at Disneyland or at the World's Fair)? And, I can't remember if that is the model that you can now see on the TTA or if that was one of the original models for EPCOT (the city, not the park).

That model is, in fact, the one on display on the TTA. I know things were previously on other floors of the COP in other incarnations, but I don't think that the WDW one ever had guest access to the upper floor. I'm pretty sure the model was at one time stored on the second floor of an incarnation of the COP.

I believe it was the Disneyland version. After the final scene, the theatre rotated to the last room. Instead of exiting out the doors behind you, you walked onto the stage and up a speedramp to the 2nd floor, where the model was. Then you exited outside onto the balcony (hence the raised walkway in California, in Florida the TTA track takes its place)

I'm pretty positive there is nothing on the top floor of the WDW CoP, if anything it would be electronics and other show elements.

Both the World's Fair and Disneyland versions of CoP had displays on the upper floor, and though I can't recall exactly what they were, I believe the World's Fair version had a General Electric display, and the Disneyland version featured the model city now seen on the TTA. It would seem that, with the shape of the building (while riding TTA), there certainly is room for a second floor, however whether one exists or, if so, what's up there, remains a mystery.

The 2nd floor of the COP at MK is used for Parts storage and for the Electrical and Electronic cabinets.

The model of the Future City is just above Mickey's Star Traders. You can access it from the 2nd floor of Cosmic Ray's.

There is another model in another 2nd floor that is not being used anymore. Does anyone know where it is??

I'll give you a hint... it is a very large model of EPCOT
EPCOT the city or the park?

A building in Tomorrowland, right? (Then again, maybe they just stuck a big ben and a bridge on it and let us fly over it on Peter Pan :p )

From what I have heard, the UFO show was planned for the CoP's upper floor but never built because no strong theme could be found. The UFO show did get built though, it is now known as Buzz Lightyear Spaceranger Sping.
