Ah. I can sympathize with that, then. I do see an unnecessary abundance of Stitch in the parks, although I can't really say I feel the same with Finding Nemo or Toy Story. Nemo pretty much revived our Living Seas and Disneyland's abandoned 20K attraction, and it added something to do in Animal Kingdom (I find the show rather impressive!). It would be nice if Space Ranger Spin lived up to the standards of the new and shiny Midway Mania, though...
Just saw Finding Nemo The Musical for the first time last weekend (I know, I'm behind!) and I really enjoyed it.
As for The Seas... I am/was a huge Living Seas fan, because of its foundation in education of aquatic life and the ocean. The Finding Nemo overlay has totally blanketed the pavilion, in my opinion; some of the mystical grandeur of the original pavilion is lost. I feel like there is no real "draw" to the education part of the pavilion. The old pavilion was very engulfing, between the film and the whole Seabase Alpha backstory.
The Living Seas (or The Seas with Nemo and Friends, as it is now) has been 'revived', but I feel like it was revived for the sake of marketing Nemo rather than keeping in line with the pavilion's purpose of telling a story without the help of a movie tie-in.
