When we do pick a topic, will we have to stick with just that one?

Per suggestion by @englanddg, everyone can talk about general topics, such as what type of project it will be, the location, etc, everyone can vote, and then that will be what the basis will be for the game. During the event, you can post more specifically. Everyone will get a say, dont worry.

Also, there's no reason, since it's a time limited "challenge" style event, that a good idea can't be done later.

Voting just allows everyone to have input and prevents spats over what the "hour of power" focus is going to be, if that makes sense.

True, of course, it can be changed if the majority wants during the hour of power (I like that terminology), but it is a nice thing to be able to have focus like you said.

This is still a work in progress, there will of course be flaws, but when/if done again in the future, it can be edited to make it much better and more enjoyable, based on the results of this.

But it also seems like there will be a lot of flaws. I think this needs time to work out the kinks. Maybe a weekend or a weekend night to allow for more people to play? That's just an idea. It just seems like only an hour would be too much commitment and I saw this as more of a casual thing.

I agree, there will be kinks, but part of this is to see what they are and fix it. Also, the time was designed as part of the challenge. Proposals don't need to be at the quality of SA right now. It is designed as a casual thing, but I will take your and everyone else's suggestions into consideration

Hey there, boys and girls! I initially said we can start tomorrow, but I figured why not, its ready! So...

Now, the first Think Tank WDWMagic event has begun! Bringing together everyone's creative minds into a great product, through a collaborative "pre" blue sky phase and an incredible session of bringing the product together! Now, it is time to start. Below, some starting questions will be asked to propel the product, and once the answers have been agreed apon (however, not necesarily confirmed), a date will be decided.

Now, the starting question- What type of concept do you all want to develop? A ride? A show? A restaurant? A dining area? A resort? A park? The list goes on. This is not the time to post your idea in detail, just what you would like to work on and maybe a quick little idea if you have one. I have a great idea for a ride. It will be located in Storybook Circus. And no, it's not Mickey's Big Top Spin. It's based on an abandoned concept for another dark ride, which also has Mickey in it.

2. 2nd Gate for HKDL
3. @mharrington Storybook Circus Dark Ride
4. An Indoor Water Park

(And Possibly Storybookland? IDK the comment was vague)

I think that's a good hour of brainstorming of what we could do!

I think that a good focus should be an expansion, not a whole park. Also, I feel we should start from scratch and not use anything already developed. So, I vote for #3 to go away, as well as 1 and 2. A water park could definitely be cool though.

I agree with #3 and #1. However I do like #2 and #4 as they seem the more fun out of the 4 choices. Plus an Indoor Water Park can technically go anywhere!

What if we got a chance to do them all, by order of interest? Lower interest ideas will still have a chance sooner or later. How about that?

I like the idea of westcot but i think a theme which is never done before works better. I think i gave suggestions like time, legends, adventure, explorers, heroes and so on in a few other threads.

Looks like we have quite a few interesting ideas forming, and many more are welcome to come! It might be wise however to start to come together for a general idea of what you agree on to do. Again, this can be changed, but for now, it will help with focus. By the end of the day, the process will move on.
