The morning we leave for Disneyland has come. We have spent the last six days in Arizona visiting my brother-in-law and doing some site-seeing. We spent some time in Phoenix where we visited our first water park,

Make sure you actually use your Space Mountain FP, unlike I did.

Another big difference is the temperature after sunset. It gets cold here.

Kids are hoping for grizzly river run after WOC. Gonna be cold walking back to paradise pier.

Yep, another difference in Cali. in the summer.
Back in August of '89 we went out to San Francisco for DW's first visit. I mentioned to her to make sure she packed a coat, and she looked at me like and said, "It's August." I said, "I know, but you'll thank me later."
She thanked me later...!

Temps arent all that bad, but its not WDW hot thats for sure. Been in the low 60s in the morning and evenings, and mid 70s in the afternoon. Its amazing how cool 62-64 is when the suns not out . It actually felt warmer than that yesterday afternoon.

Trips been great so far. Really excited for DL today!

We commandoed DL that one day in June of '10 and I don't think I ever broke a bead a' sweat.
At WDW we'd a' been drippin' dogs...!
