WOW! I'm surprised I had not heard of that!...Maybe this is why the descent is taking a year and a half to complete.:lookaroun:lol:

Wouldn't be a surprise in all honesty. And with the way we cover news in this country, I might be the only one in Palm Beach County who knows about this Siemens thing. :lookaroun Over here, "international news" basically equates to what happend in Hollywood today. Its pathetic really. :dazzle: :brick:

But anyway, back on subject: where is this going? The plastics thing was in Innoventions East, right, so this will be over in the East part of the pavilion?

I can't imagine the throughput being very high for this. Even if they force pairs or larger ala the plastics exhibit, still need a lot of space for those arms. Maybe what, a 30 second ride? It will take longer to get strapped in/out of the arm than your ride will be. That being said, I look forward to doing this on my next trip. I love a good coaster!

Oh, trust me, Palm Beach County ain't that great either. It has its nice areas, but even there you can run into some very snotty and rather ignorant people; I go to a school full of them, and its really just shocking sometimes. :hammer:

Ahh I can see it now.. These simulators will replace all rides at Walt Disney World... The Machines are taking over...I guess we will be fine unless Disney signs a Deal with Skynet....

Yea this does sound like Cyber Space Mt. I only did that thing maybe twice and it was ok, but nothing to go into DQ specifically for IMO. However this new exhibit sounds interesting and like it could be fun. Something if done right could draw a lot of needed attention to innoventions. Make it more than an airconditioned walk through from one side to the other lol.

One thought, since this is implementing physics, could it be assumed that when building the roller coaster if you dont make a hill high enough to go over another, that the finished simulator version will have a roll back? I doubt it though, they probably will say so while you're building it instead of waiting until you "ride" it.

I've never been to Disney Quest, and I rarely go into Innoventions (first time in several years was to see Stormstruck in December). I know there has been talk of Disney Quest closing, would it make sense for elements/attractions of Disney Quest to find their way into Innoventions?

It just seems like a giant billboard for WM to me.
Every attraction is just a big billboard for the companies sponsoring them. That is the point. The created a great interactive, informative and educational attraction. It perfectly encapsulates what Inoventions and Epcot are supposed to be.

Exactly...All the favorite EPCOT Center attractions were chalked full of sponcership. Kraft and GM, were most blatant about it, if I remember correctly.
