Trip Report The Story Comes ALIVE! *COMPLETED*

Hello again, my friends.

For nearly a decade it has been such a joy for me to write about 50 (yes, 50!) different trips that I have taken to WDW - including one that was virtual. ;)

The reason? You, the reader.

I don’t do trip reports for my own documentation. I have journals for that. I write because I love interacting with y’all. Your encouragement, humor, curiosity and even snark (*ahem* @amjt660) assure me that I am not alone in my crazy affection for Disney parks. A big thanks to each of you!

I am very fortunate to be a frequent visitor to WDW (despite what @Mr Ferret 88 believes, I do not live there!) and am entering a season of monthly visits. Trip reporting is time consuming (as those of you who’ve written can attest) but I’m not ready to completely give it up - yet.

What I’d like to do is keep this as an ongoing TR for the rest of 2023. It will be highlights and moments, with live posting as the goal. My story coming alive, so to speak.

First up is spring break with my favorite girl.

Em had read that it was best to stop at a Guest Experience Team blue umbrella before attempting to scan in late to GotG.

“You can tell our sob story about our hours stuck in traffic,” she said to me.

I’d barely started my tale of woe when three CMs smiled at me and said, “No worries! You guys are good to go!”

Tuvalu does not ride GotG.

But @riverside does. And Em was happy to have someone familiar to sit next to, instead of a stranger.

As Em and I walked towards the entrance of Hollywood Studios this morning we overheard an enthusiastic Dad proclaim to his son: “That used to be called the Tower of Terror. It’s the Guardians now.”

Ummm….we aren’t in California, dude!

The area outside the tapstiles was surprisingly not crowded. We breezed in and headed here.

Em spotted something she had never seen in the island room. A projection of a small 🌪️!

Not dining here this week though. Em wasn’t interested.

The masses hadn’t made it to Toy Story Land yet.

The posted wait time wasn’t bad but we ended up waiting longer than it said. A lot of stop-and-go in line that was very reminiscent of our drive yesterday.

And our ride photo never showed up.
