Like Disney Dad hinted at - it's very good but it won't run well on a standard laptop - needs a gaming computer really which i don't have so I can only play in spurts before my computer goes nuts.

Hmmm... I don’t have a gaming computer, but I do have a pretty high-spec 2017 MacBook Pro. Can you adjust the graphics settings if it’s too much to handle?

I might not be the best to ask - I have an old 2015 Dell so pre the game's release. The new ones might be able to handle it better but not sure

My classmates in my CAD class keep wondering how my computer isnt broken yet trying to build this. Its completely built out of individual lego bricks.

You both may be ok, but definitely check the specs.
I will say, unless you are planning to build a park with 50k pieces you'll probably be fine. I have an hp spectre and it runs pretty solid until the piece count gets super high. A lot of it just boils down to how much you are planning to build or download (theme makers toolkit or steam blue prints with thousands of pieces).
You can adjust the graphics settings and if you keep crowd levels lower, that helps too. It's a long learning curve for me at least but still learning and thoroughly enjoy it.

I'm slightly worried about if they try adding too much sympathy to Cruella, but I'll say this: it at least looks more distinctive compared to most of the live-action remakes.
