Hello everyone!

Today is officially the 2-month mark in this multiverse spanning season! I'd say that calls for a round of applause to all involved. We've traveled from the dawn of Disneyland, to the Digital Kingdom, the deserts of Dubai, the streets of Universal, and next to one final unique Chapter of fun (Stanza XII and XIII) before the playoffs begin.

I'm sure many of you can relate to this (I can at least 🤣)

How it started....how it's going

Which is a nice transition to talk about the upcoming "Board Room" affectionally named "The Haunted Board Room"

With this post - I'd like to clarify exactly how everything will happen so we're all prepared in advance:

What is The Haunted Board Room?
With over 2 dozen active imagineers, and only one Sorcerer's Apprentice - the Board Room will be a Q/A that will allow the players the opportunity to showcase their accomplishments throughout the season, and express why they would like to advance into the playoffs.

What is the playoffs?
The playoffs are how we will take an enormously talented cast and crown one Sorcerer's Apprentice. Led by @Outbound @D Hulk and @AceAstro as the judges, the format will consist of 3 Stanzas, each one week in duration, themed to very broad open-ended topics, and taking place in the month of April.

Setup
To start, there will be 3 teams of 5 players each.
Stanza XIV - Top 2 teams advance

Stanza XV - Winning team advances
Stanza XVI - 5 finalists compete to be the 7th Sorcerer's Apprentice
*There will be some leeway in these rulings based on activity.
(ie if someone on Team C did the majority of the project by themselves out of necessity and someone on Team A won but did very little, the panel will take that into consideration on a case-by-case basis for who advances)

What is the Board Room Q/A?
There will be 3 questions offered by the Board Room panel as an opportunity for players to elaborate on their play throughout the season. You may answer as in-depth or as brief as you'd like, however the more information you provide can only benefit you.

1. What did you feel were your Top 5 contributions to the game and why?

2. Which project did you struggle with the most and what (if anything) did you learn from it?
3. If you were to advance, do you anticipate any exams/trips/work in your way that would take precedence over the game?

What's this 'resume' I heard about previously?
It's nothing. It was just a way of describing how you'll be telling the panel essentially what you did throughout the season, which is accomplished by answering the questions above.

What happens if I do not make the playoffs?
Since this game takes inspiration from Star Wars and Marvel story elements, "no one is ever really gone."
Anyone who doesn't make the playoffs is instantly granted a guest reviewer role for the playoffs! In addition, there will be a new One Sentence Competition open to all, a couple new Jeopardy games popping up, as well as a Disney Sky inspired open-brainstorming thread. I really don't like eliminations and I view this as an online family of sorts, so while I wish everyone could make the playoffs, I've made sure there will always be something to do to stay involved for those who wish to continue.

Since you know the Board Room questions, if it helps you can start formulating your responses. However the Board Room thread won't be posted until approximately 48 hours before the conclusion of Stanza XIII, and then will remain open some time after if anyone wanted to wait to add their contributions to the last Stanza in the responses.

Hope that helps clarify things for now, but any questions you can ask here or in a PM. Thanks and good luck!

-Wait! We're fighting over a Musical?
-Didn't you get my email explaining the situation?

So, after a sabbatical (read abducted by work) here's one more of my guest reviews (this one is very short, ok?).

I love this character both in the comics and in the movies and I was extremely happy that you created such good and cool stuff. Scott deserves a show on Broadway - Seriously!

The Playbill presentation was well done and I think it fits the theme perfectly, I mean that's a no brainer. My only objection is as to the style of the artwork defined, on the cover we see the cinematographic reference, but inside we find the comic version, I believe it would be better if you had chosen only one style.

I loved the facade and I think it would fit in the designated area. It would be a good transition between Mell’s and NYC/San Francisco, however I think a 3-story venue is too big, it sounds very decadent, it will end up damaging the IP mood… They say in the movie: “This place is a Toilet”.

Regarding the idea of retelling the movie, I do not see a better solution to introduce the guests to the incredible and unknown world of Canada :p . I'm glad you remembered that the film was not the classic it's today.

Although I like the idea of distributing Playbills, I only see the need for this if it were really a 2-hour play where you give credit to the entire team behind the curtains.

The songs ROCKS! Very happy with the result presented, I was rooting for you guys in this Stanza. (ok, I'm not supposed to say it ;)).

I liked the idea of informal stands, like they do at concerts, for selling merchandise, but I’d rater prefer one supercool store (
like a old records indie one) we have to remember that we're at UNIVERSAL and as Kim said: "we are here to make money, and sell out and stuff."

Ughhhhh I’m so mad that I forgot all about the “we are here to make money, and sell out and stuff” line!!
