Unpopular Marvel opinion in honor of Endgame:

My favorite Captain America costume is the one from the first Avengers.

Yes, it's kinda cheesey. But that works for Cap! He's as much a symbol as he is a character. This suit was bright and colorful and looked practical for a more athletic hero. It looked like what someone who was trying to inspire others to be their best versions of themselves and give them hope would wear. Plus, it's not an overdesigned mess of belts and pockets and fabric that wouldn't work for a hero who is athletic and flexible.

Anyone else have unpopular Marvel opinions?

Also I think the US should have gotten the film first, or everyone at once.

If they are so worried about spoilers then the film shouldn't be released in other territories first with people posting bootleg clips these last few days.

Spoiler images showing up in my youtuber recommended feed is the worst

Netflix is unlikely to make more Arrested Development after the reception of season 5.
+
Disney now has a connection to the series since they own Fox and this the first 3 seasons.
+
The Marvel movies have made multiple references to AD including the famous stair car from the show being in Civil War and Tobias being in the Collector's Collection in a deleted scene of Infinity War.
+
Arrested Development could use the Russo's Bros back as a major crative force alongside Ron Howard since season 5 seems to have been cowritten by Ron Howard and his ego and no one else.
+
Disney likes working with Ron Howard since they grabbed him as their go to "safe" director for Solo.
+
The Russo Bros are likely to take a step back from big blockbusters after four huge movies in a row.

=

After the Netflix exclusivity ends, Arrested Development should come back on Disney+ with the Russo's back helping and the show being directly tied into the MCU.

Have a storyline of Gob trying to copy Dr. Strange's "tricks" for his act and being mistaken for a superhero by some kind of galactic bountry Hunter. And then a whole plot involving important events from the MCU and George Bluth promising vibranium to the Vulture and Michael trying to find a way to help that and Tobias getting abducted because Ravagers saw him in Blue Man Group make up and mistook him for a lost frost giant

Just make it a sitcom in the MCU with the same characters reacting to the way that world would change if the MCU was real. Sort of like the insurance company sitcom DC did or the Damage Control sitcom that Marvel didn't wind up doing. Except with Arrested Development characters instead of new characters.

Pi, you've come up with a lot of crazy ideas (#HippoSplatterWall was urs right?), but this might take the cake.

While there are a lot of practical challenges to this, the idea could be fun. Personally, if there were to be a sitcom in the MCU, I strongly feel that it should feature XCON (the team from Ant Man and the Wasp).

(Practical Challenges for those curious: Lindsey's actress said she's retired basically. Huge drama with George Sr. and most of the cast is very angry at him).

I do love these characters though...

It is? I can never see him when I'm watching, so I thought it was cut or something. Guess I just have to watch it again lol

And yeah, there's so many issues in general with continuing Arrested development without retooling the show and cutting half the cast to the point where its not even really worth it. Much less putting it in the MCU officially. Just kind of a fan wishlist kinda thing haha. XCON would be incredible to see!

And I think I may have suggested a scat themed bathroom in planet watch based on a joke Pergron made. And then @PerGronStudio ran with it and came up with #HippoSplatterWall. Or it may have been all Perg. If anyone gets credit/blame for that its him lol

I honestly agree. It’s between that and the stealth suit for me. I’ve always had the thought that the Avengers suit was meant to be a modern USO suit. Cap shows up in the Avengers suit for public stuff but he has an actual suit for superheroing.

Edit: also let’s be real, Chris Evans could wear a paper bag and make it look good and that’s the tea
