One of the greatest tragedies of the age. And sure you can rebuild it but you can not rebuild It. So much history and art and architecture just burned to nothing. Notre Dame can and will be rebuilt, but Our Lady of Paris is lost.

Having been to Paris a few times, this really saddens me. Regardless of religious affiliation walking in and around notre dame several times always amazes. Had many a sandwich or crepe just enjoying it on the Seine.

I'm in the middle of @James G. 's review for The Shadowlands -- I wasn't expecting it to be this dense...it's like reading a novel (which has its pros and cons)

The con being there's no way I'm going to be able to read this all in one sitting after a 4 hour exam it'll take some time -- so far I'm enjoying it to give an update!
