Is it useful? I was thinking of getting one but I don't know what I'd use it for.
I love mine. I use it to check the time if my phone isn’t nearby, to look up the weather before I leave, as my alarm for the morning, etc. The new thing I discovered it can do is a sleep timer. What the sleep timer does is allow you to play music for a certain amount of time before it then turns off. That way you can listen to a bit of music without having to worry about it being on all night

Who has been to WDW during the Food & Wine festival? Is it worth it?

Reading Break this year ended up lining up perfectly for my 21st birthday so I'm tempted to do Disney that week. The Monday would is Columbus day but otherwise, the week should be fairly quiet. I've never been to any EPCOT festival before so I don't know what it'd look like. Is it busy? Is it worthwhile or should I look to go at a different time?

I love Food and Wine, personally! :D It's cool to see Wonders of Life open, and the different classes and demonstrations.

Great but if you do it in one day - expensive. Be aware they raised the prices last year, and they'll probably do it again this year. The food is more size for a little less than some QSRs. - Quality's great though.

Also, most of the locals go to the festival on Fridays and the Weekends, so I'd pass around going that time. It's really hectic. o_O

I second this. I got to Food and Wine every year... Though now that I write that I realize that doesn't mean much.

Good to know! If I go around that time I will aim for EPCOT mid-week to have smaller crowds.

some of the generic sleep timer sounds can be used as alternate alarm clock sounds. All you have to say is Alexa, set alarm to sound title. Some of the sounds have not worked for me though for the alarm clock. My favorite one that worked for me is babbling brook, very calming to wake up to stream noises than beeping. I assume you can also do the sounds for a timer as well, but I haven't tried it yet.
edit:
another thing I like about alexa is that there is very minimal use of lights on it, so if you sleep in 100% darkness like I do it is perfect.

I'm actually thinking about the Phillips Hue in my room to have them wake me up in the morning.

Today's (late) imagineering question:

So I never was a fan of the ESPN Zone at the Boardwalk -- it doesn't seem to fit in with the rest of the theme (to me at least)

Question is do you like it, and if you don't - what would you do with it?
Burn it down!! BURN IT DOWN> ITS ALL ESPN'S FAULT, ESPN RUINED EVERYTHING DISNEY.

I would have loved another dance hall, but the first one isn't popular enough so something social for people our age. (20s/30s)
