Rumor I just read: replacing WOL for black panther.
I...am surprisingly for it. Thoughts?
At the rate they are going with Epcot -- it wouldn't hurt with Guardians next door

That being said, it feels very knee-jerk...and not well thought out. Something in Adventureland would be fun, but Epcot? Because it's futuristic then it must fit in Future World!

Also I thought Black Panther was in Universal?

Honestly, I could easily see how this could be implemented in a way that fits well into Epcot. Like, perfectly into Epcot. I can't really say more without spoiling things though. Like, if done right it could be the "classic Epcot" pavilion purists want. Of course, if you are open to IPs, which Epcot purists aren't. But it could be Horizons level of Epcot appropriate and an exciting, crow pleasing adventure.

The technology outreach centers Shuri was in charge if setting up at the end. A pavilion in Epcot dedicated to the exchange of technology and knowledge. With a really cool, fun, female scientist as the host. If it wasn't tied to an IP, it would be hailed as a great return to form by Epcot purists.

This is perfect.

It is. That’s why I considered the rumor to have been created by someone who doesn’t anything about the Disney-Universal Marvel scenario.
It was done by Jim Hill.
Not sure how much Jim knows, but he seems credible enough. Not as credible as marni though.
Plus Rob gave a good theory that disney might get marvel in flordia soon that has some credible backing
Basically with tot in dca gone and rock n rollercoaster gone in paris, it is possible disney's next step is to negotiate a plan with universal so they can clone those two rides into florida as well as making a marvel land around it. As for guardians, it isn't the first time disney used a ride that had the same ip in two different parks (toy story, muppets, etc.)

I think that if Disney went with that route, they'd do a different tower retheme than Gaurdians.

Just to say up front, I don't in any way want tower of terror to be rethemed in Florida.

If they we're retheming the tower, doctor strange would work a lot better in Florida. The tower could be built in way that still fits visually with the Morocco pavilion and sunset boulevard. Plus, this would give a different marvel property an attraction. Not that Disney would never use the same properties in two parks (they have before), but there are so many different sides to the marvel Universe. It seems like a waste to use Gaurdians twice.

Especially since they couldn't even do an exact clone since the layouts of the different towers in Florida and California are very different. They would have to put in almost the same amount of design work for Gaurdians as a new attraction.

As much as I love the OG Twilight Zone version, I would love to see this.
