Under a hundred hours until the trip. Gaaaaaaah. It's getting so tangible now I can't even stand it. This time next week we'll be using our Fastpasses for a mid-morning ride on Kilimanjaro Safaris! Also just an update on the plans. I decided to forgo two days at Universal in favor of one marathon park-hopping day and a "recharge" day on Saturday to take in stuff outside the parks. Got a breakfast reservation at Boma which kills two birds with one stone by getting me some multi-cultural food and a chance to explore Animal Kingdom Lodge. We'll probably also do Fantasia Gardens this day to really get our moneys worth out of the Parkhopper Plus. Then it'll be an unwind at the River Roost with a few glorious hours of guaranteed Yeehaa Bob time, haha.

A wise choice on only one day at Universal. The top attractions can easily be done in one day, especially if you do single rider or express pass.

At least to get your money worth -- the tough part about Uni imo is there are very few areas to just sit and relax in within the parks compared to Disney...it's mostly just to get from attraction to attraction.
Don't get me started on the walk to the parks.. It's part of the reason I don't like going to the Magic Kingdom. The amount of time it takes to get from Parking lot to park it insane.

I hope you have a great trip Tiki, I’m living vicariously through you on this one. ;)

In 2016, we stayed on Universal property in the middle of July and had express pass (we stayed at Hard Rock). From 7am (the beginning of early entry) to 4pm (including an hour long lunch at Mythos), we finished every ride we wanted to accomplish in both parks. You should be fine both without express passes and in winter time, plus single rider. Worse case scenario you can skip some repeats (Simpsons ride, The Mummy, etc) to get to the attractions unique to UOR. :)

A pain right? I can't tell you the last time we parked at MK. Last several trips we've just either ridden bus if on property or park at epcot many times and monorailed over after a super short walk from lot to epcot entrance. Helped us too having a stroller at the time doing this and never having to break it down for trams.

If I lived down there I would probably spend the most park time in Epcot and DAK...find a shady spot and do some work in the Japanese gardens.

Since we are on an extended trip in June, hoping to have lots of time for this. Love chillaxing on the water down behind flametree bbq (always really quiet for me) and on the little sliver of waterfront patio behind Yorkshire in epcot.

The Tree of Life Trail behind the tree right by the entrance to Africa. Parts of it winds into the extended queue of Tough to be a Bug. They don't ever use the extended queue for Tough to be a Bug. Practically Deserted. Beautiful sights. Love it.

Edit: This is where I filmed the video reviews for the One Sentence Animal Kingdom round. If anyone wants to see the area I'm talking about. It was my go to place for Animal Kingdom because of how quiet it was.

@S.P.E.W I hope you don't mind me asking a question today, just curious to see what everyone thinks!

About an hour ago, it was "announced" that the Wonders Of Life Pavilion will no longer be used as a Festival Center (looks like the cones on the roof of WoL were serious @spacemt354 ).

What would you put in the pavilion? Would you keep its former theme, or update it to be themed around something else?

Unfortunately, WDWMagic blocks links to rival sites. What site is it from?

If it were me, I would extend the Mission:Space pavilion to include the Guardians ride, and maybe use the Wonder of Life pavilion as a hub with a Wall-e dark ride.
