I'm probably in the minority, but I prefer Mike Myers as Shrek. Now Farley was great, but I just think Myers worked better for Shrek.

Yeah, Shrek just ain't Shrek without the Scottish accent. Chris Farley was good too, though.

I agree, though we're only really basing this off of one scene.
It's incredibly cool that this lost Chris Farley film finally leaked, though.
And now The Day the Clown Cried is in the Library of Congress, promising a release in 10 years, and A lost Sherlock Holmes film from 1914 is being released in the fall. It's a good time to be a cinephile.

I completely agree, but it's very nice to see Farleys original read...shows a different Shrek.

I'd love to see that and the recap videos in general after each challenge. I always thought those were really cool. It was like watching SportsCenter recaps after a baseball game

I'd love to do that. Part of the reason we haven't done anything else with SA has been due to te potential awkwardness of a judge and a contestant essentially talking shop about the game. It's definitely something I'd like to do, though.

Well, that wasn't really on my mind personally. We've done "judge and contestant" podcasts for SYWTBAI before and it worked out just fine. The reason why I haven't had time to do them is because of Christmas in July which is always a MASSIVE toll on my schedule. I believe once or twice we've tried doing shows on Sam's channel but the scheduling hasn't worked out.

I can definitely see that. However i think since its really just discussions I don't think anyone would get much upset. Could also get some other folks in on it. I'd be plenty down to help out and join in.

Awesome. We'll probably plan on having a rotating panel of people covering every challenge going forward...hopefully. Also, BlueDragonFive and I are getting ready to start up the Daredevil podcasts again. We'd love to have you on for the Wilson Fisk episode, which happens to be the next one in our lineup!

Also, while were on the subject of people coming on for podcasts, any and all fans of The Muppets are invited to take part in our "Muppet Movie Month" retrospective series. We've only done the first film so far. The series is all about the "connection" of Muppet fans and what makes the franchise so timeless. And of course it's building up to the premier of the new ABC show!
